I visited for a gel removal and reapplication. During the appointment, the technician discovered my nails were too damaged to safely go ahead with the reapplication, so only the removal was carried out. The condition of my nails only became apparent during the removal process and was not something I was aware of beforehand.

It was only after leaving the salon and checking my card that I realised I had been charged £30 for the removal alone. I was not shown or directed to a price list at any point during my appointment, and no mention was made of the revised price before or during the service. Standard gel removal pricing in most salons is significantly lower than this. For context, a removal with reapplication at this salon would have been £39 in total, meaning the removal alone was priced at just £9 less than the full treatment.

When I raised this, the salon acknowledged that the pricing hadn't been communicated clearly but declined to offer any refund or goodwill gesture. I was pointed to their website as justification, despite the fact that no mention of the price was made at the time of the appointment change. The salon also cited the time allocated for the original appointment as a reason for the charge, however the removal itself took only 30 minutes.

The removal itself was carried out well and without an efile, which I appreciated. The lack of transparency around pricing and the response to my concerns has meant I won't be returning.

Kelly is absolutely amazing. Every treatment I’ve had has been relaxing, beyond enjoyable and so peaceful. From nails, to massages, to eyebrows! I always leave feeling so rested, I would highly recommend going to Kelly. Everyone comments positively on my eyebrows after they have been shaped and tinted. I’m a woman in full bloom menopause which has brought aches, pains and sleepless nights. However since having regular massage with Kelly my pain has reduced and my sleep has improved. Kelly has the most amazing energy around her. The salon is lovely and all staff make me feel very welcome when I come in. It’s the type of place you visit and you are just counting the days till you’re back.

I visit nearly monthly for my eyebrows and regular back, neck and shoulder massages with Kelly and Jo. They are amazing at both and providing a friendly and professional service. My eyebrows are always looking great and natural after a visit. The massages are amazing and a great way to de-stress, and I would definitely recommend.

Had IPL treatment with jo as I have rosacea. Wow what a difference for the first time in years I can just pop some moisturiser on and go, no make-up requiredr.Highly recommend this treatment and of course jo .
