I booked in with celestial nails for a full set of acrylic nails. 24 hours later one had popped off (the top, acrylic etc). I didn't message as one wasn't a big deal.

Within 48 hours- 3 had popped off, again it doesn't even look like I had acrylic on my natural nails.

I spoke to celestial nails and she said it's never happened before, fair enough, but would not give me a refund and that it's been over 24 hours so she can't fix (her policy says 48 hours). I was fighting for my money back.

72 hours later- I was ignored and messaged again. A whole hand had popped off and I needed to go get my nails redone. Still no refund.
She told me I must have had oily nails!

I was also told I bombarded her with messages, I was updating her on my nails.

The customer service I received was bad and I was told I was threatening as I said I will have to leave a poor review. No refund, no nails after 4 days, and now £100 down in nails to rectify.

No apology, no taking responsibility. It may not have happened before (a review on her page says it has!) but there was no rectifying and then she BLOCKED ME. Blocked a paying customer exercising consumer rights.

It took hours for a full set to come off straight away. I was told they last 3-4 weeks.

It may not happen often, but I'd avoid just in case it does happen. No acrylic was dried on my nails, they popped off like glue on nails.

Hello Lily, this situation has been one of firsts for me because I haven’t had anyone with acrylics have one come off after a day or two, I apologise if I didn’t come across in the best way but I genuinely was confused and trying my best to explain why this could have happened. When you messaged you immediately asked for a refund which lead me to believe you didn’t want me to fix it and that’s why I didn’t offer. I got the timings wrong on my policies simple mistake it is 48 hours for repairs but again this wasn’t something you was interested in. By the time you had messaged you’d already been to a nail bar for a fix. I didn’t give a refund because I used all my products and my time, I would’ve been happy to redo the entire set or fix the nails that had come off so I could evaluate your nails and see what had happened. I think this review is very one sided and paints me in a bad light when I tried my best to be reasonable. I never ignored you I simply went home and you were messaging out of business hours, sending 7 messages without a response to the first one is bombarding me with messages. You also say you said you would have to leave a bad review but you said ‘I’d appreciate a response or I’ll be leaving bad reviews’ this is a threat, you’re threatening me with an outcome if you don’t receive what you want. I have good customer service and I respond when I’m able to. I’m sorry that the nails you had didn’t last sometimes freak accidents happen and all I can do is learn from this.
