Lovely polite staff! They got my little girl in and made her feel special. My daughter is very nervous but in here she was completely at ease and they did exactly what she wanted. Would go back and would recommend. Thank you for a lovely experience for myself and my daughter!

They have been doing my nails every month for about s year now however twice I've been in and they have been bad naturally they are really nice but just recently I got my nails done they cut my fingers with the file and the nails fell apart within 3 days

Never had worst nails. Unwelcoming staff, they put one layer of black gel paint that was patchy showing the nail underneath, the polish was applied to my skin and rather than wiping it off before curing, their solution was to use their dirty nail to scrub a bit off and FILE the polish off my skin after curing! My nails were already very short, the extra filing hurt. The result was uneven, glued to my skin, very ugly. Half a nail (polish) came off the same evening. By the time I took the pictures I already removed the extra bits

Hello people I went to American nails in alfreton for the first time and I am appalled by there work . They are way over price for the job that they give. I won't recommend this nail shop to anyone .

I have always used this nail shop for years but the past couple of times I've been my nails have been so bad. Not filed properly and lumps. Even the varnish was not on properly and left on and around my tips. So therefore I will no longer be using this shop. I do think the 2 men get rushed off there feet but still no need for rubbish nails.

Had my nails done twice by American Nails, the 1st time in March 2023 and the 2nd time in June 2023. My nails are now ruined. They are all thinned dramatically and bruised, with some nails lifting away from the nail bed. Do not use and avoid at all costs.

So unhappy 🙁 after having my nails regularly done for 5 years now this is by far the worst experience! Firstly whilst drilling my old set off he got really close to the natural plate and it started to burn, i told him this and he laughed at me!? Then just carried on! I Asked for a design which he was happy to do. I asked for flowers on 2 nails. He did a kids art splat. The "flower" petals where round and literally like some bumpy blob. It was half black, half natural, he put no base colour on so was just bare gel on one side. I told him it wasn't what I wanted so could he please take it off (after first nail) I then just asked him to paint them, 3 attempts on one nail as he kept smudging it. He was rude, shooed and pushed my hands away each time. At the end he noticed paint stuck to my skin around the nails so he used the nail file to get it off, i now have fingers covered it what feel like tiny paper cuts! First and very last time il ever go here!

Appalling service, rude, gel came off within 2 days! Guy who did my nails was coughing all over me (funnily enough I was ill within 4 days!) Avoid at all cost, maybe cheaper but there is a reason for that!
