This was my first time visiting this place as my usual beauty salon was fully booked, so I thought I’d give this one a try. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing from start to finish.

Upon entering, we were barely greeted and had to wait several minutes before anyone even asked what service we needed, despite the salon not being busy. After that, I waited around 20 minutes before finally being offered a seat. The chairs were also very uncomfortable, with no headrest to lean back on during the treatment.

I had my eyebrows done first. The staff member asked if they looked okay, but with only a wall mirror and no magnifying mirror available, it was difficult to properly check whether all the hair had been removed. I trusted her judgement and agreed. She then did my upper lip and again asked if it looked okay.

At the end of the treatment, I was expected to apply the soothing gel to my own skin, which is usually done by the beautician. Before I had even properly finished wiping my face, another customer was being called to take my seat, which made me feel rushed and uncomfortable.

It wasn’t until I got back to the car that I realised my eyebrows had not even been trimmed properly, and there was still noticeable hair left on my upper lip. Overall, I’m extremely disappointed with the service and attention to detail. I won’t be returning.

When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised with the handful of women in the waiting room compared to the busy waiting area of a nearby salon. This should’ve been my first warning.

I wanted a simple upper lip and eyebrow thread. After waiting for around 15 minutes it was finally my turn.

The actual threading experience itself was subpar. At one point the lady threading me, was getting my bottom lip whilst trying to aim for the edge of my top lip. My nose was caught in the crossfire too. She got distracted and was talking to someone, but continued threading my upper lip, going here, there and everywhere.

My eyebrows were threaded very quickly, again what should’ve been another warning. After both were completed she told me to look in the mirror which was the one attached to the wall with no magnifying capability. Couple that with poor lighting it’s easy to miss things. I commented that there were some hairs left on my upper lip area to which she proceeded to say she couldn’t see anything and this was just peach fuzz.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but peach fuzz is fine and often a lighter pigment than other hair. I also know that these hairs are removable as I have them removed every other time I get threading done. The length of them were also the same length as the hairs she did manage to get. Nevertheless she attempts to remove them and tells me waxing is better.

I have to physically ask for cooling gel and I am given it to self apply.

When I get to my car (which has a close up mirror) I notice my eyebrows look like they’ve barely been touched. I have hairs underneath the brow themselves which is normally removed with tweezers (another service not provided). I completely forgot that this was even a thing, but I didn’t even get the tops of the brows trimmed.

I had to go home, self pluck those stray hairs (many), use my own thread to remove so called peach fuzz which I removed in one go as a novice.

I thought paying more here means better skills, client comfort and attention to detail. Clearly it’s not. Save your money, wait a bit longer in another salon and get your moneys worth.

I had such a lovely experience with Faiza! It was my first time getting a brow tint, and I was honestly a bit nervous, but she made me feel completely at ease from the start. She took such great care of me, explained everything, and the results were amazing—my brows have never looked better! She did a fantastic job. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon 💕

I recently had a facial at the Serenity by Shazia and it was such a wonderful experience. The whole session was extremely relaxing, and the staff made me feel comfortable from start to finish. The products felt gentle on my skin, and I could see an instant glow afterward. It was honestly the perfect self-care time — refreshing, calming, and totally worth it. Staff are horrible. I went in before two people and they made me wait. They saw me but made me wait and then when it was my turn the staff looked at another customer asking if they want assistance who also came after me. The customer also told the staff she came before. Then the staff member only then acknowledged me but by then im too pissed off to get serviced by them. Please tell them to treat all customers equally. This wasnt nice.

I called the shop last minute today and they managed to squeeze me in for an appointment to get an eyebrow wax and full leg wax. Amazing service. Everyone was sooo friendly especially Sebi. She was very welcoming and had completed my service soo quick and professional. Thank you soo much.. I will most definitely be using their services in future.
