Confident some of the staff are racially profiling. This is the second time it’s happened to me to my knowledge. Male staff member (probably 30s) with short dark hair pretty much kept following me around the store and was made a rude comment about me through his headset to a colleague when I walked in. He was right in front of me. I guess he thought I could not hear. He then proceeded to keep following me down each aisle until he realised I was just reading the products before buying. A few months ago I had the same issue as soon as I walked in the person at the door said into their ear piece to keep an eye on me?! This was also overheard by my partner, she was disgusted. And then I was watched like a hawk until I stared back and asked if there was a problem. I went to pay and the lady (middle aged, short with dark blonde shoulder length) looked me up and didn’t even communicate. I have never stolen from any shop in my life nor given them a reason to think I have, so it’s probably a racial thing. As for the talking about customers through their headsets, this is unprofessional and I think it’s from a lack self awareness. Regardless their actions are rude and hurtful. My partner and I will be using boots from now. Just to add not all the staff are like this, it’s just those two. The others are professional and friendly.

What a lovely store! Visited today 18//08/24 at approx 12.15pm. Was VERY disappointed with the low level of customer service I received from a member of staff that was at the piercing station. She did not have a customer their, and was reluctant to even look up at me when I asked if they did a certain piercing. Her answer was "Yes I do" then quickly diverted her attention to whatever it was she was doing. I asked what the price would be and was told to look at the list which was face down on one of the chairs. I came in to have the piercing done but changed my mind due to the lack of interest shown to me by the member of staff! No eye contact, no Smile!!! Maybe she's having a bad day?
