I went in today for a new foundation, and I was just browsing when Kiera on N°7 approached me and offered the new deals and explained everything,
I went over to see if N°7 has a foundation for me and she offered to do a skin match for me which I didn’t even know Boots does !’ She explained everything so well and even showed me results on my skin , I’m normally a very shy person but with Kiera it was really comfortable and safe for me to talk to her !! I walked out a happy customer all thanks to her today !! Amazing service and such a lovely attitude!!❤️

The service at the pharmacy counter at this Boots is shocking.. there is no customer care or service.. the queue system is a joke and the staff are just so unfriendly and unprofessional

Absolutely disgusted by the customer service of a lady that works in boots. She has a blonde bald head is quite tall and skinny, she works in the make up section. I am here on holiday from Australia and asked her a simple question because things are different here to Australia and I was confused, I was greeted with “and?????”
She was so rude, I have never met anyone so disgusting in my life. She shouldn’t be working in customer service at all.
I will never be back just because of her and her attitude and if I owned this boots I would be so embarrassed to have someone like her work for me.

I went into boots last week as I had an anxiety attack and needed to speak to a pharmacist. I spoke to Laura who gave me some great advice and information, as well as some suggestions on medication. She was really kind and patient, and took the time to chat to me which calmed me down. She’s always so lovely when I have spoken to her in store on previous occasions. Thanks Laura!

Poor experience with Tara in the pharmacy. Initially she refused to even take my shopping basket - even though no one else around - and then she didn't even scan my Advantage card. When I asked her to put through again she refused and made me go elsewhere! What an attitude - useless and lazy, never had such a poor experience in a Boots store. And I notice they give you no way to complain or feedback, so leaving a review is literally your only way. Won't be using this store again.

I wanted to buy some ibuprofen for toothache. For some reason this is gatekept behind a counter and you need a member of staff to get it for you. The staff were all behind a partition in the pharmacy department, seemingly chatting and not doing anything. A queue gradually formed of people just looking for basic medications - the staff could see this queue and did nothing. Eventually one woman stepped forward to reach over the counter and get hold of something. At this point a staff member came and shouted at her for "helping herself" - but there were no staff to help her! After this the same staff member finally started helping people, but by this time the queue and the wait were so long I walked out. Boots, please put more staff in this shop, or pay your staff more so they're actually motivated to work.

ETA: I walked 100 yards up the road to the Spar where I was free to pick up a packet of ibuprofen all by myself without staff approval, and it was a fraction of the cost :)

Update 6 nov 25: they have done a freshen up with a new pharmacy counter and a repaint of the ground floor (didnt go to first floor so carnt comment). Looks much better now.

Starting to look run down in my view but has been there for well over 30 years so i guess its allowed. Friendly helpful staff and a good arrangement of goods.
