I was left so disappointed after going here for waxing my eyebrows and upper lip. I really thought that they would be experienced in dealing with asian hair removal but I was wrong. After waxing and shaping my brows, I was told stray hairs would be removed with a tweezer. My skin was pulled and pinched but the hair was not removed at all! I didn't have a chance to even look in the mirror properly as I was rushed out of the room because it was closing time and they had to tidy up. So disappointed as cost more than I would normally pay at another salon and had to come home and allow my skin to calm down before plucking out the remaining hairs myself. Not professional and over priced.

Was my first time here and I booked myself in for a waxing session (arms & legs just) and got allocated to Anita.

Went in to my appointment (a few mins late since I had to come in from Belfast but rang them to keep them posted) and then was taken upstairs to get my service started but by a completely different person (who wasn't Anita). When asked why she said that Anita was busy. Thought to myself, right okay, no problem, as long as I get my service done properly, it doesn't matter.

This lady decides to start waxing my legs first and makes the biggest mistake of fully covering my entire leg from my thigh to my ankles with hot wax. Bear in mind that hot waxing isnt meant to be done this way. Professionally it would be done patch by patch while the wax is hot. And as she got to my upper thigh the wax had completely cooled down (badic common sense) and I was screaming at this point (have been getting myself waxed from 10 years and this is the most horrible service I've ever had). I couldn't bear the waxing anymore so she most generously offered me napkins to stick onto my thighs instead of using oil to get off the remaining wax. Super profesional, wow, slow claps.

Finally, saved the best for the last. She then proceeded to apply hot wax from my shoulder to my wrist, clearly not learning from what just happened to make her realise that she's doing a horrible job. Before she even started I had told her to not wax my inner elbow since my skin is very sensitive there. But guess what, she didn't care, went ahead and wacked on a pile of hot wax on my inner elbow too and when she stripped it off, left me sitting there with tears in my eyes as my skin turned into purple bruises.

At this point I'm shaking, crying and asked her to stop. And she's just standing there gaping at me so insensitivity, repeatedly telling me that she has an appointment after me and needs to finish off quickly here. Finally I ask her for napkins to wipe my eyes and nose to which she hurriedly hands me one napkin, just one and locked the rest away in the cupboard behind her safely.

Remember she coated my whole arm with wax?- this means that the rest of the wax has completely cooled down by now and I cried my eyes out while she forcefully ripped the rest of it off me (felt like she was skinning me alive).

Finally after my torturous service finished, I went downstairs and was asked to pay the rest of the money while she smiled at me from behind the counter like nothing had happened. At this point I just wanted to get out of there so I paid and left and went and sat in my car and bawled my eyes out.

After reaching out to the salon multiple times to get a refund, Anita herself agreed to refund my money back on seeing the photos of the bruises but not a penny has been returned to me. Neither has the salon apologised for causing so much pain, discomfort and trauma.

Anyone considering going here, please don't. They're absolute shit at customer service and have no sense of responsibility or accountability. Just drive out to any other salon a few mins away and have a lovely time there because I'm sure there's nothing worse than this.

Thanks for going the extra mile today when I couldn’t lift my leg onto a stool for my toenail file and polish. Having to perform this service sitting on your knees would not have been easy nor comfortable. I really appreciate this.
