I can’t recommend this hair, nail, and beauty salon highly enough! Rach, the owner, is truly incredible — hardworking, dedicated, extremely knowledgeable, and always so welcoming and friendly. You can really see her passion reflected in every part of the business.

The whole team creates such a warm, relaxed atmosphere, and the level of service is exceptional every single time. They genuinely take the time to listen to their clients, making sure they fully understand what you want before getting started — which makes such a difference.

Staff and management are lovely, friendly and helpful. My mum had complex eye surgery back in May 2023 & wasn't allowed to get water near her eye. Hair washing was proving difficult. At the age of 75 she went to a hair salon for the very first time in her life to have her hair washed. She loved the experience!! Felt totally relaxed in the hands of the staff. She went again the following week.
Sadly the surgery had to be repeated in July so she's staying in Chester and would only go to MODE to have her hair washed. THANK YOU FOR BEING SENSITIVE to her needs.

Lovely staff and very welcoming experience, however I think it’s very expensive. I was charged £50 for a straight forward wash, trim and dry for my 15 year old daughter - I couldn’t believe it! It wasn’t a restyle or anything, just a couple of inches chopped off the length. Probably won’t return for that reason.

Would have left a zero star if I could have. Don’t go there for a hair cut! I had such a bad experience here - my four year old son could have done a better job! I’m so shocked that they are allowed to cut people’s hair. Really traumatised by the whole experience! Never going here again. Beautiful salon but inexperienced and rude staff.

Cannot recommend Mode of Chester enough! So glad I booked myself and mum in ahead of my brother's wedding. Yas was great, and her attention to detail was second to none. Both her and Rachael were determined to make sure our hair would last the full day - mission complete!!

After giving me a curly blow dry, they noticed a couple of sections that could do with a bit more hold so went above and beyond by going over everywhere with tongs. Safe to say, my hair stayed pristine, and even looked nice the morning after.

My mum also had a blow dry, and not only did she get the most voluminous style, but was also given tips on how to put on her fascinator, and make her hair look thicker on the daily.

It's a shame we're not local to the area, or we'd be back all the time! Thank you so much for a fab experience (and do).
