I had an incredible pregnancy massage with Abi - felt amazing to get a proper pamper and treat myself at the end of my pregnancy. My brother purchased a gift voucher for me which is a lovely service they offer here. All the staff were so lovely and friendly, generally a lovely vibe. I would definitely recommend :)

I’ve been coming to The Little Retreat for nearly 29 years, and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Whether it’s a manicure/pedicure with Debbie or a facial/massage with Abi, I’ve always been treated with the utmost care and professionalism.
The salon is consistently spotless, beautifully atmospheric, and just a lovely place to unwind. The team are not only talented but genuinely kind and attentive. On the very rare occasion there’s ever been a minor issue(and I can count those on one hand over nearly three decades!) they will bend over backwards to make it right, whether it’s redoing a gel nail that’s come off or just making sure you are 100% happy with your treatment.
Always excellent service, top quality treatments, and a warm welcoming atmosphere every time

Over the last 20 plus years I have had nothing but excellent experiences and care from the Little Retreat . As a Customer you obviously have responsibility to be clear and agree on the treatments you require and although it has never happened to me, if anything was not quite right for the customer there would be absolutely full attention to that .. but you have open your mouth and say !
Posting derogatory comments after a treatment is unhelpful and certainly not acknowledged or influential to and by the many regular customers at the Retreat.
To be honest I don’t care about other peoples treatments or experiences , I make my own decisions thank you … but I care about protecting what is a brilliant service to many other people..

On my birthday, I visited A Little Retreat for the first time, hoping to get my eyebrows waxed after work. The lady kindly fit me in without an appointment. She asked about my preferences, and I explained I wanted a tidy-up, not thin brows or a high arch, preferring a straighter fuller shape. The waxing was quick and with minimal pain but sadly, the result was a shock. My eyebrows were waxed far too thin, with a noticeable arch that I definitely didn't ask for. They were also uneven, and the gap between them was too wide they were definitely not the full brow look that we had discussed. I was far too upset and embarrassed to complain, so I paid and left without saying anything. Though the lady was nice and the salon clean, I wouldn't recommend A Little Retreat if you're particular about your eyebrow shape. I left with what I can only describe as 'sperm brows.

Sophie is the best of the best. All those years i have been having massage and she is the absolute best. I suffer stiff shoulders after breastfeeding for months my posture is not great. Her technique is brilliant and she knows how to treat tense painful shoulders really well. I feel like a baby every time I leave the room and can’t wait my next visit. I wish I could clone her and take home with me
