I had a really disappointing experience at Little House of Beauty. I waited around 20 minutes past my appointment time before being seen, and when I was finally taken through, I was put in a room where another client was already having a treatment done. It immediately felt unprofessional and not relaxing or personal at all. There was no real acknowledgement or apology for the delay other than “I’m just waiting for a bed.” Honestly, the lateness itself wouldn’t have bothered me that much if the service afterwards had been good.

During my lash lift, my eyes were stinging badly throughout the treatment. Rather than properly checking or reassuring me, the therapist mentioned leaving “step one” on while she went to deal with other clients. At one point I was left lying there unable to see — which is obviously part of the treatment — while she brought in two other girls and continued tending to multiple clients at once. She even stopped waxing another client’s brows midway through to come back and “wipe the other lady’s off so her brows don’t frazzle,” referring to me. Hearing comments like that while already uncomfortable made the whole experience feel chaotic, stressful, and honestly quite anxiety-inducing.

I also tried to make conversation to ease the awkwardness, but the therapist seemed completely uninterested and gave very closed-off answers. The overall atmosphere felt rushed and disorganised rather than calm or professional.

For £82 for a brow tint and laminate plus a lash lift and tint, I expected a much more attentive and relaxing experience. I will say the actual treatment results weren’t bad, but the service itself was awful — if I could give zero stars for service, I would.

I’m not usually someone who leaves reviews, but the experience was poor enough that I feel it’s important to make potential new clients aware, and hopefully encourage management to address the chaos and lack of professionalism.

Booked a last minute appiontment and she was lovely. She was so polite and helped me pick what design i wanted and she copied what I wanted exactly. Never been happier with my nails.

I had BIAB nails , gel to my toe nails and an eyebrow wax with Seren and I’m really pleased with the results. My nails look absolutely beautiful — neat, glossy, and exactly what I wanted and the shape of my brows is great.

Seren is very young but incredibly professional and talented. I received such a warm welcome from Seren and the owner Kirsty the moment I arrived, and Seren was lovely to chat to throughout my appointment, which made the whole experience really enjoyable.

I’ll definitely be back and would happily recommend her to others. 💕

Would not recommend for an intimate wax.
The person who did the wax appeared very inexperienced, was not talkative or reassuring with no guidance despite me saying I'd not been waxed before. Gave the impression she just wanted to get it done as quickly as possible.
Not done well at all :( and I was left injured (top layer of skin ripped off). When I called for advice, I was unhelpfully told that I must have sensitive skin, so essentially my problem and not theirs. Awful experience.

My first visit to The Little House of Beauty for an eyebrow wax & tint and I'm delighted with the results. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the salon is very pleasant. Kirsty really listened to what I wanted and was careful to give me the natural results I was looking for. I will definitely visit again.

I love coming here to get nail extensions and I really recommend it. All of the girls are welcoming and chatty, making me feel comfortable every time. They double check length, colours and shape to make sure that I’m happy every time. I always come out happy with their work.

Fabulous service as always. Really happy with my manicure and gellish, my therapist also helped me choose my nail colour, she did a great job as always.
The girls are always friendly chatty and helpful. Recently there has been new staff members but I have found all the girls to be polite and friendly.
Kirsty the owner works hard and does a great job in making sure everyone receives a great service, she always finds time to have a chat and makes everyone feel welcome.

My daughter had her Halloween party nails done at The Little House of Beauty today. I have to comment on yet another positive experience. The nail tech’s work is of the utmost quality, clearly knowledgeable and professional, and at every visit, makes my daughter feel valued and pampered. They are all great conversationalists very kind, and take pride in their work. I would highly recommend a visit, such a warm welcome. Thank you ladies, see you soon!
