We'd also note that very similar reviews appear to have been left across multiple salons in the area on the same day. Very strange.

Google Icon is my go to place for massages. I hadn't been for a while and booked in for a full body deep tissue massage yesterday with Alice. It was AMAZING! I could not recommend more. Alice was so great, she sat down with me at the beginning and asked exactly what I needed and checked in throughout. I left feeling totally rejuvenated. Thanks so much Alice!

Google Lucy is an amazing wonderful person! My injured cat need rescuing from the garden and she was happy to let the vet and myself through to look for it whilst treating a client. I am so grateful to you and your client for allowing the interruption.

Google The beautician here was very kind and helpful when a pet got stuck in the back garden prior to their veterinary appointment. We interrupted her session to try and find it, which was not at all ideal for her or her client, but she was very understanding. Would therefore recommend her to any animal lover!

Google Poor experience with icon beauty- they messaged me to delay the appointment only 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment time when at that point I was already on my way. I spent in total 20 minutes waiting for my appointment before I asked to cancel and for a refund of my deposit. Staff didn't know how to refund me and told me their manager would phone me that evening to refund me. I am writing this review the following day, having still received no refund and the salon won't answer any of my calls

Hi Jocelyn, we are sorry you had to wait 20 minutes for your appointment, very occasionally due to unforeseen circumstances, for example an earlier client arriving late, we may unfortunately run over. This does not happen very often and we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused, as we do appreciate how valuable our clients' time is. The lady who tried to refund you is one of our therapists and would not normally be in a position to refund a client, however the manager did message you that evening to reassure you that you would receive a full refund the next day. The next day we did contact you several times by telephone but could not get through initially, but succeeded on the third attempt and we were able to process your full refund as promised that day. We pride ourselves on our service, this is the first poor review we have had and can genuinely say no upset was intended.

Google My first visit here. I had a deep tissue massage with Alice after being bought a voucher. Alice was so lovely and the massage was excellent, exactly what I needed. The salon has a lovely overall ambience as well. Would recommend.

Google My normal place was fully booked for threading so thought I would give ICON a go. Whilst the experience was pleasant enough ,I nearly fell over when I went to pay, the cost for eyebrow and chin threading was £28! This is way off the average price which is typically £15 or under. The treatment was under 15 minutes and compared to the threading studios in local area the treatment was average.

I work hard to make sure the salon is warm and welcoming as it means a lot to me so I am sad we have been given a 2 star review for the first time. We do advertise our prices widely, they are on display in the salon, on our website and on the online booking system as we would never want to cost to be a surprise.
