I called ahead to book a same-day appointment for nail removal and was told there was availability. However, when I arrived, it was clear no one was expecting me, and the staff seemed unsure about who would even take me.

A beginner technician ended up doing my removal with little to no greeting or basic customer service. The entire experience was uncomfortable—she hurt me multiple times, and despite me visibly flinching and pulling my hand away, she continued without adjusting her technique, only apologising once.

What made it worse was her comment criticising the previous work on my nails, which felt unprofessional given the service I was receiving. My nails were left extremely thin, brittle, and sensitive from excessive filing. They were red and painful afterward—I couldn’t even put my hands under warm water for a week and experienced pain just touching things.

Overall, this was a very disappointing and painful experience. Please ensure staff are properly trained before allowing them to work on clients, and focus on delivering safe, attentive service rather than rushing through treatments. I wouldn’t recommend this salon.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear that you left feeling uncomfortable, as this is not the experience we aim to provide.

During your appointment, you did inform our team that your previous set had been done by a friend rather than a trained technician. Upon assessment, the product was not BIAB as initially expected and was more complex to remove, which can sometimes increase sensitivity during the process.

Our technician did check in throughout the service to ensure your comfort, however we completely understand from your feedback that you feel this was not sufficient, and for that we sincerely apologise. Your experience and safety should always come first.

We are reviewing this internally, including how we manage removals of work completed outside of the salon, to ensure clearer communication and the best possible care for our clients.

My autistic daughter has started coming to Rozzy's for her nails. I can honestly say the going lady that has been doing them is wonderful. My daughter chats incessantly and the lady sits and interacts with her for the whole process. We have been other places where they look at her from other stations and roll their eyes at her. So frustrating as a carer.
This place not only does superb nails but the staff are very welcoming and kind.
