I would not recommend this salon.
The customer service in this place is disgusting. Save your money or go elsewhere. Getting your nails done should be a lovely experience, this place just causes me stress and worry. I hate going here.

Place is rubbish, my partners hand were hurt by the 'nail techs' with the rotary tool. They also don't mention that it's cash only until after the fact, make you walk round the corner to get cash out of a cash machine. Cash in hand rubbish. Don't go unlus you support iligal business.

I have been using this salon for a few years now, previously there used to be a lady and a man that were in charge, but she doesn’t seem to work there now and the gentleman is only there occasionally. Since, they have left the salon has gone down hill. They are rude, they do not speak and when they do they speak in their own language to eachother. They pull your fingers when doing your nails, tap on your hands to get your attention and the lady I had recently even coughed to get my attention. This same lady in question told me “you don’t want that colour, won’t look nice” I persisted and she still said no. It was only when I said “ they are my nails and I want that colour so please can you do it” that she continued. The price I paid most recent was more than before and I had the same done. The quality of the nails don’t even last anymore, they chip, snap and break within two weeks. This time I had them done, they were way too short, wonky, and too thick. I even had a lady recently ask me if this was my usual salon, as she was shocked at the service she received and said she would never come back. She asked about the quality of the nails and the colleagues spoke between themselves in their own language and laughed, and the response they came back with was “ I can’t change them now”. Terrible customer service. I work face-to-face with customers all day every day and would never treat a customer the way they do. The only nice staff are the gentleman and the lady that was in charge and has left. Do not recommend.

I would not recommend going to Top Nails. The staff are rude, rush their work, pulling on your hands and then wonder why your hand isn’t ‘relaxed’. There was previously a gentleman and lady who worked here that were friendly and you could have a conversation with, it’s a shame they are no longer there. I don’t expect a high level of customer service at a walk in salon but the staff do not even show any general politeness. The only advantage is that you can walk in any time but you could be waiting anywhere between 30 minutes to up to an hour for an appointment. They have a booking system which they don’t manage. I would suggest taking your business elsewhere as I will be doing going forward.

Nails do not look like my photo i showed her the price before she did my nails stared at 40 ended up paying 50 the nails are nit straight she also pulled my fingers that much i thought they was coming out the socket she then used her finger nails to push back my cuticles which was very painful and my friend also had her nails done and they was pulling her hand so much she felt like her fingers was going to pop out of her socket would nit recommend and did not mention when I booked that it was cash only

Four staff in the shop and not one of them was friendly. The woman doing my nails didn’t try to engage in conversation. The staff all spoke to each other loudly in a different language. Very tense and awkward atmosphere. My nails needed refiling as they were jagged and covered in nail glue but I decided to do it myself. My fingers were left covered in red nail polish after being airsprayed. She didn’t seem interested in taking her time. It was clear they just wanted to close early despite my booking being for 5pm and finishing at 5.45. Definitely wouldn’t recommend and wont be going back

The staff were far from hospitable. I was met with such coldness by the nail tech who didn’t even try to engage in conversation. Even when she finished, I had to go back to the shop for my nails to be fixed because she did not file the extensions down properly causing my nails to look like they have dents in them.
Terrible service, would not recommend.

I wanted to reach out about my nail appointment yesterday (06/08). I’ve always had great experiences with Top Nails, but this time I was really disappointed.

I asked for a blooming flower design, but it was clear the technician wasn’t trained in that technique. I’m not sure if it was due to a language barrier, but either way, proper care was missing. The result didn’t look good at all, and even parts of my nail weren’t covered in polish, I’ve attached photos.

As a nail tech myself, I was able to drill it off and re-do it at home, but I shouldn’t have had to, as I paid £40 for BIAB infills with this specific design. On top of that, my cuticles were really damaged, which is now very painful, again I have a picture to show this.

I requested a refund however this cannot be done, I’m not usually one to moan however I would hate for someone to have the awful experience I did.
