I’m really disappointed to be writing this, because I’ve been going to Miami Nails for a while and always thought they were decent, even though I’ve never understood why they make you pay upfront. But after today, I won’t be going back.

I went in for a pedicure at around 1:10. I hadn’t booked—mainly because booking has never actually made any difference here, as they take walk-ins ahead of appointments anyway. I was told it would be a 10‑minute wait. Fair enough, I thought.

Twenty-five minutes later, I was still sitting there while more people were joining the queue. Then at 1:35, I was told it would be “another 20 minutes.” So in total, a 45+ minute wait for something I’d been told would take ten.

If they’d just been honest upfront, I would’ve gone somewhere else. There are plenty of salons around, and I wouldn’t have wasted nearly half an hour sitting there waiting for nothing. I don’t appreciate being told one thing and then kept waiting indefinitely with no explanation. If the wait is long, say its long! Don't waste my time and hope I'll just sit there quietly.

It’s a real shame because I’ve always tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. But being told inaccurate wait times feels disrespectful, and I’m not willing to put up with that. I won’t be going back. I'm not going to give my money to somewhere that lies.

i have my nails done today and i asked for acrylic french tip short,i keep saying to the guy i want them shorter and they ain’t the same length but he wasn’t changing it,now i have some nails bigger than the other,also didn’t even let me choose what colour acrylic i wanted either,he put the acrylic on so so thick that my natural nails actually hurt,i have had to go out and buy myself some nail files to try and fix them but nothing is working,they also let you pay first which isn’t great as they have already took your money,i wish i read the reviews first as i have seen other people complaining about how bad there nails are!i would really not recommend
