My fave nail salon in the North East. Lovely staff, always on time for appointments and I’m obsessed with my nails every time! The only place I trust and I’ve never had any chips/breaks and my nails are the strongest they’ve ever been! 10/10 recommend

I have been going to this salon for more than a year now, every 4 weeks or so, so this review comes from a seasoned customer. I usually get my builder gel nails in and sometimes a luxury pedicure.

I have always received such a great service from all the techs in the salon, but I want to give a special shout out to Serena - The Queen of Nail Artwork - who manages the salon and does the most amazing artwork on your nails if you need it.

Nothing is ever too much and if you book in advance you're always served right on time and don't have to wait. The quality of the work is always so good I've not felt the need to go elsewhere.

Today I went in with a bonkers AI idea and didn't even expect much, just hoping it would be something 'along the lines of' but Serena blew my mind once again with her patience, ability to recreate a nail idea off a Pinterest picture and steady hands as she created something that I can truly show off and be proud of.

Thank you again for your hard work and professionalism.

I have had a really disappointing experience here and would not recommend it.

A few weeks after getting my acrylic nails done here, two of the acrylics came off as expected, but they actually ripped my real fingernails off with them. It was extremely painful and has left my natural nails damaged. I’m now dealing with very sore, injured nails.

The rest of the acrylics are incredibly painful. My fingers are in so much pain that I cannot touch anything without constant discomfort. Acrylics should never cause this level of pain.

During the appointment, the nail techs were also very aggressive while handling my nails. My hands were cut in a few places while they were filing, and nobody apologised.

Overall I’m left with damaged natural nails, and extremely painful acrylics. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this salon.

This was my second time visiting this salon and unfortunately both experiences were bad. The nail technician cut my skin in three different places during my appointment. The first time I came here he had already cut one of my nails, so this was not an isolated incident.

What disappointed me the most was that the technician never apologized. Another lady working there had to step in, clean the cuts, and apologize on his behalf.

About two weeks after the appointment, my fingers became severely swollen and painful. I ended up going to emergency care five times because my fingers were extremely inflamed and doctors were worried about infection or blood contamination. My fingers were so swollen they felt like they were about to burst. It was too late for antiviral treatment and I was given antibiotics, which unfortunately did nothing.

The swelling only started calming down after about three weeks, and I was unable to work for nearly a month. Now, two months later, the swelling in my finger is starting to return again.

Please be careful with salons that may charge £2 less but rush the process and handle your nails harshly. Nail care should never be rushed, especially when tools are involved that can easily break the skin.

Personally, this experience has put me off doing my nails completely because the risk simply isn’t worth it.

Ladies, take care of yourselves and choose places that prioritize hygiene, gentleness, and proper technique rather than speed.
