Extremely clean salon, kind staff, good time keeping and most importantly a lot of care and attention to nails and nail health. I only had a take off and tidy up, but I’ll definitely be back for more treatments, because the take off was very gentle on my natural nails and left them in good condition with no acrylic residue.

I feel many people come here just beacuse the nails last long which they do but honestly there is so much better out there for the price especially, I got short acrylics with cost my 50£, 2 years ago i got the same nails with more design much much longer for the same price. I understand cost of living but these prices are crazy. Also i think if your going to charge luxury price services should be better. The second you walk in it’s uncomfortable vibes anf even if you have an appointment you will be waiting never mind the snarky comments fron staff. Honestly yky can find better salons for better prices with just as good nail retention. Don’t wast your money on uncomfy, boring, awkward appointments !

I am a regular customer to yarm nails and I have to say I am utterly disappointed. I initially had an appointment for BIAB infills which I normally pay £37 however I did expect to pay slightly more because I wanted a new design. However I had waited an half an hour for my nails to be done even after booking and appointment only for them to tell me that I was not able to get infills due to them being outgrown. My nails were slightly outgrown but no where near enough that infills couldn’t have been done. So I just allowed them to be taken off and a new set of BIAB. I sat with my hands in acetone for around 2 mins so that they could take my old set off and replace them. I asked for a simple BIAB with a red tip for Christmas. Once my nails were done, I was told they would be £50 as it was an extra £10 for the removal and an extra £3 for red tips not white tips. I was extremely shocked for a removal charge of £10 considering all they did was stick my hand in some remover for 2 minutes, £5 would have been sufficent and then extra £3 for red tips just felt as though they were having me on. When I asked why they just said that’s the policy. I did not understand why changing the colour really mattered to be honest. I feel as though yarm nails just changed their prices when they see fit and based on their customer to see whether or not they can rip you off or not. It just felt as though because I was being polite they wanted to see how much they could get out of me. Safe to say I will not be returning.

I am really disappointed with the customer service I experienced at Yarm Nails. Over the past seven months, I had become a regular customer, particularly appreciating the BIAB nails service. However, my recent visit was a letdown.
A week ago I returned to Yarm Nails to have my BIAB nails redone, for which I paid £52. Merely five days later the builder gel began to chip and lift, indicating a significant decline in the quality of service. When I approached the salon seeking a refund, I was met with a refusal based on a policy saved and kept on the manager's phone and not disclosed on their public Instagram page. This lack of transparency regarding their no-refund policy is unacceptable.
Despite initially resisting the manager eventually consented to issue a refund under the stipulation that I must not return to the salon—her words were, "you will never be back." Following the removal of the builder gel, I returned my loyalty card and received my refund.
I would recommend Yarm Nails to reconsider their approach to customer service. Ensuring that all policies, especially concerning refunds, are readily accessible and transparently displayed and reconsidering their payment options to include card transactions would be a commendable step forward. I wish them success and, yes, “I won’t be back”!

Utterly disappointing. I go every month, I'm a loyal customer, I won't go again. At my appointment today they made me wait 2 hours, half an hour with my hands steeping until my fingers hurt. Don't take bookings if you haven't the staff to honour them.

Wonderful acrylic nails. Love them! Have been back for infils. Will continue to visit this salon
