First time coming here, was made to feel welcome on arrival, had a very short wait until another lady arrived and she walked straight in, straight to me and began. Had a terrible set removed (done elsewhere) and fresh set put back on. Amazed at the standard & quality considering how insanely quick they are in here! About an hour tops and i had nails removed and fresh set on, nails are immaculately done 👌 exactly how I asked for. Not a single blip with them, they make it look so effortless. Fantastic quality, warm friendly staff, 100% recommend and will be returning :)

Always go to Lisa star nails and I am always very happy with my nails .
Especially today, I had to take a picture love the effort she put into my nails.

Absoloutely awful. The first time I went here I had a fantastic experience, however I have since been a few more times each time worse than the last. Each time my nail beds were left bleeding and sore, the design I asked for was also not followed or executed poorly. I kept going back because so many peoole recommended it to me. Today I went in for a simple soak off and was left with acyrlic still on the nail in places and despite bringing this up was told this was fine. Unfortunately I wont be back. Please think twice about using here.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I feel I should share my experience – maybe the salon will take it on board.
First, I have to say they do paint the nails neatly, so at first glance they look nice.
I had been going here because it was the only salon I could find in the area, but my experience has been disappointing overall.The very first set I had done was thick and technically so poorly made that when I came back for infills, they immediately removed them, saying they weren’t suitable. Of course, they had done them in the first place, yet I still had to pay for removal and a full new set.
On other visits, the nails looked neat and tidy, but the lack of hygiene is alarming. Disposable nail files are reused on multiple clients, metal tools and drill bits are left dirty, and staff move from client to client withoutwashing hands. Workstations are never cleaned between clients. There is constant chaos and clutter throughout the salon.
On one visit, my nails were done by three men (an older man and two younger ones) who constantly chatted in their own language. After I explained what I wanted, they repeated it to each other and then started laughing and commenting, which made me feel very uncomfortable.The finished nails looked okay at first, but once I left, I noticed each one was a different shape and length. My natural nails hadn’t been filed properly underneath, leaving them thick and uneven.
I understand that some salons may have lower hygiene standards, but even in smaller towns I’ve seen basic precautions taken. Here, unfortunately, there seem to be none – tools aren’t disinfected, gloves aren’t worn, and there’s no regard for either staff or client health.
Overall, while the nails might look acceptable at first glance, the complete lack of hygiene, professionalism, and consistency, plusthe chaotic environment, makes this salon very disappointing. I will not be returning, but I’m giving 3 stars because it’s not my intention to cause trouble – I just hope the staff will take this feedback seriously and reflect on their practices.

was absolutely in love with my nails, first time coming here. only reason why i dropped it 2 stars is because the woman was really rough with me and the guy who kept switching with me and my mum was constantly on his phone, stopped doing our nails just to go on his phone which really bothered us because we saw it as unprofessional, we will come back just hope the guy ain’t on his phone as much. more understandable if it was family issues but it was about clothing or whatever.
