Everyone at Aphrodite is welcoming and professional. It's a lovely relaxed environment there. Natalie did an amazing job on a really intricate nail design, the detail was incredible! Very happy with my holiday nails. Thank you so much 😊

My mum, sister, auntie, friend and I had a lovely spa day here on 18/4!

We booked the £52pp deal which included 2 hour spa time (jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, relaxation room) and 1 treament for 55mins: facial, full body massage, head massage, manicure or pedicure. The website was a little confusing to navigate and understand options so I rang up and staff were happy to take the time to explain all options.

Our friend had the pedicure and was impressed, as was my sister who had the facial and even fell to sleep throughout it due to it being so relaxing! My mum, auntie and I all had the full body massage and it was beautiful!! I have regular back massages with one specific person in Manchester where I live and compare everyone to her and they never top her. I also do lots of spa days with back massages that I compare - this massage at Aphrodite day spa was on par with my usual back massage so I was very impressed! I can't remember the name of the lady who did my (Tamisha) massage, but I would highly recommend her!

We also added afternoon tea with a glass of Prosecco each (£18pp). This was fully worth it too and we all left satisfied and got to take leftovers home. They catered for me with alternative milks and catered for our friend who can't have butter/margarine on sandwiches. All the food was lovely!

The spa day was structured and we got a tour of the place when we arrived. The changing room was small but we were the only people using the spa facilities for the duration so it wasn't a problem. There was a shower available in the changing room and a toilet in reception and a toilet upstairs. Towels, robes and slippers were provided as well as free bottles of water, and we even asked for more towels to get dry with at the end of the day and this wasn't an issue.

If I had to be critical the only thing I personally would've changed is having time to get dressed into clothes between the jacuzzi and our massage or have the massage towards the end just so we didnt have to be in wet swim clothes, but it really wasn't that much of an issue just a preference. A nice extra touch would perhaps be a bag to put wet swim clothes into as a suggestion. The stairs to get into the jacuzzi were a little wobbly so perhaps if this could be made more sturdy?

The whole day was lovely and good value for money and didn't feel rushed at any point. The staff were very kind and couldn't do enought for us. I would definitely recommend to others and revisit which I don't say often about spas!!
