Last 3 visits had issues. My nails last summer, despite being the first set of false nails i'd had on in 6 months and the 1st set of acrylics iv'e ever had, were very badly removed by Wendy. She took them right down that they were so thin and brittle that hot and cold water hurt badly. I called and she said that was normal when you take off acrylics. At the time she was taking them off I complained it was sore and again she said it was necessary. She also said she hated doing ails and hardly ever done them, and left it to the other girls generally. she also admitted she has not done any nail training since her initial training which was about 20 years ago - had she told me that before the treatment I would not have went ahead. As iv'e had previous ok sessions there for nails I decided to give Wendy a wide berth but visit the other girls. However, I visted a few months later for gel toes and they were badly done by a girl with South American heritage - can't remember her name. And my final visit, over 6 months ago was for lash perm and tint. This stung like mad and had to be removed early and when I got home and looked, my eyelashes were burnt and over-processed, which I had confirmed by another salon, who advised that times for leaving things on are only guidelines and products should constantly be checked as clients lashes come up at different times. I should aso add that after wendy butchered my nails, they took 4 months to recover and fully re-grow and two salons I visited said there was no need for there to leave my nails like that. She basically filed them off. So, despite having had several ok nail treatments there, because the last 3 were bad, I won't be back.
