This appointment was with Nics Nails

I booked a soak-off/removal of previous work and a full BIAB set (a complete redo). I had a few broken nails, which is completely normal when getting a redo. At the appointment I was told she “didn’t have time” to apply tips to three nails and that it would take an extra 15 minutes. I was then given two options: have all my nails cut down to the length of the broken ones, or leave those nails unfinished and go elsewhere.

There was no mention at booking that broken nails or tips needed to be declared in advance. In my view, a full set redo should reasonably include the possibility of needing one or two tips — that’s basic expectation, not an add-on surprise. This was clearly a time-management issue, as she said she had another client straight after me and wouldn’t overrun.

I left with three nails not done and had to go to another salon to finish them. That’s unacceptable. The attitude was dismissive, there was no effort to resolve the situation, and communication was poor.

The nails she did do look fine, but the overall experience and customer service were very poor. I won’t be returning.

I’m really sorry to hear you were disappointed with your experience at the salon. Regardless of who your appointment was with, a client should never be made to feel rushed, dismissed, or leave with nails unfinished, and I completely understand why this felt unacceptable.
