While Connie was training you could understand a few hiccups, the last 2 times I've had nails done and I've not been happy. One appointment her baby was bought in the salon and was screaming most the time, not a relaxed atmosphere at all. I sent a photo beforehand to see if she could do them, she said yes, when I got there she hadn't even got the colours. Why agree you can do something when you can't? The last nail appointment the attitude was 'let's wing it' i had 1 nail on each hand with art and the didn't match, I had 2 completely different nails.
This morning my appointment was 9.30 for lashes and brows, got to the salon a few minutes before my appointment, I rang, I messaged, I knocked loud several times as the door was locked and was ignored. Even now 35 minutes later still no reply, no apology. Nothing. Not professional at all. I asked for a follow up appointment for lashes/brows and nails on the 16th and safe to say I won't be attending that.

Thank you for your review. I’m sorry to hear that you were unhappy, but I’d like to address a few important points.

As a newly qualified nail tech still building my business, I take great care to communicate with all clients throughout every service. I consistently check in, confirm colour choices, and ensure clients are happy—especially with custom nail art. This was no different during your appointments.

Regarding the appointment in question, I acknowledge there was some confusion, and I sincerely apologised at the time. I also offered several solutions to resolve the situation, none of which received a response. It’s important to note that you also missed your next scheduled appointment without notifying me, which is why the no-show policy was triggered—something all clients agree to when booking.

I’m a working mum juggling a new business and two young children, which clients are made fully aware of when booking. I always give the option to book when I don’t have my children present, and many clients appreciate the transparency and flexibility.

I genuinely regret that your experience didn’t meet your expectations, but I also believe in being fair to both my clients and myself. I welcome constructive feedback, but I won’t allow a misrepresentation of the effort, care, and professionalism I bring to my work.
