Honestly appalling - I came here to get BIAB before my wedding as it was near to my venue. I'd never had BIAB before so didn't know the process, but I'd seen pictures and was assured it was like a stronger gel varnish. She painted multiple layers of clear varnish curing each finger one at a time, and then painted a few layers of the colour on before going in again with a top coat. There was no filing or shaping between layers so my nails got thicker and the gel seeped down the sides creating lumps and ridges. I asked her if it was supposed to look so thick halfway through but she brushed me off and carried on, she seemed quite angry and impatient so I just let her finish. I felt uneasy asking the lady to remove them after they were finished because of her demeanour, I was scared she would destroy my nails in the process, so I went to a different salon. I was told there when they removed them that she'd never seen BIAB like this before, normally they paint a light pink layer as the base coat and shape between cures with the dremmel to get an even shape. The fact this salon used a clear coat as the base made it difficult to see where my natural nail started and my nails are now in a very poor state. I don't believe she knew what she was doing and to charge £28 for this abomination is actually unbelievable.

I visited Sparkle Nail Salon today for the first time as was absolutely delighted. I phoned up for an appointment and they were able to squeeze me in last minute! Tom and Anne are both highly accomplished nail technicians and I am thrilled with my nails. They are perfect! I will be a regular returning customer!

Best place in a good mile radius to have your nails done. Appointment only means no waiting time yet quick results. Good value and nails always last longer than any other salon I've been too. Definitely recommend.
