I had a really poor experience at this salon during a student appointment. I made it very clear that I wanted a straight cut with no layers, and despite that, my hair was cut unevenly and heavily tapered — the complete opposite of what I asked for.

I understand this was a training environment, but that doesn’t excuse such a noticeable lack of accuracy, especially when the request was so simple. What was even more frustrating was the response afterward — I was told my hair was cut straight, which is simply not true. It felt dismissive and unwilling to take accountability.

There should be far more supervision in place to prevent situations like this. Clients shouldn’t leave feeling this unhappy, even at a reduced price. I’ve been left with a cut I don’t like at all and now need to pay to have it fixed elsewhere.

Overall, a very disappointing experience both in terms of the service and the lack of proper response afterward. I wouldn’t recommend if you’re expecting your request to be followed or your concerns to be taken seriously.

I had a full set of acrylics done a couple of weeks ago by Alix for my holiday, I am not someone who has regular beauty treatments so I took ages reading up on local places and was a bit unsure but I ended up booking through fresha. Both the online booking system and the experience that I had were the best. Alix was great to chat to, she did my nails to perfection and we bonded over being cat mums! I wish I could be a regular but unfortunately my profession means I can't have false nails, however, they lasted well and I would have continued going back if I could. As a local, Fresh is going to be my go to spot whenever I want a beauty treatment and will be looking them up in the future for definite.

Had hair washed cut and blow dry today with their deal, Rosie is lovely and was really nice to treat myself for a change. The only reason for 4 * and not 5 is she had the water a tad hot not that it bothered me but someone else it could off.

i had never been to a hair salon before fresh and i had never had my hair professionally cut, dyed or even styled and all i can say is that amelia did an amazing job with all of it! i walked out feeling extremely happy with the outcome and a beautiful shine and colour on my hair. i will most definitely be returning, thankyou amelia!! you work miracles!
