What a lovely group of girls.

I have been going to Dollys & Dimples for over a year now for my eye brows wax & tint with Kayleigh and my LVL with Ebony and i have never had any issues (I am a fussy ginger). They are so warm and welcoming when you arrive (no mean girl energy) offer you a drink if you have to wait and always seem interested in you and your life during treatments. They are so professional and great at what they do yet instantly make you relaxed and the whole treatment is relaxing from start to finish. Everytime I have been it’s always the same familiar faces and they are a credit to the owner as they have the best customer service and welcoming energy. If I could give them both more stars I would.

Spotlessly clean and I highly recommend I won’t be going anywhere else whilst them 2 are working there. Thanks Ladies!

I feel really sad writing this, as while the people working here seem nice, the two I had treating me today were not trained in the treatments I had. It isnt fair on the practitioner or the client and I think everyone came away from this morning feeling really uncomfortable and embarrassed. While I gave feedback both in the salon and to the owner on Instagram, I think that because my comments were negative they were taken to be disrespectful.

You can see from the pictures the quality of my nails. She filed them down so short that she was filing my skin, and she was quite aggressive with the cuticles too, making them bleed. I also went in trying to be chatty and friendly, and I'm sure she was just shy, but her not talking back to me left me feeling so uncomfortable that I just wanted the treatment to end. I also had an Indian head massage, which involved the lady putting way too much product on my back so her hands were sliding everywhere with no pressure whatsoever. I asked her twice to use more pressure as it was just tickling me rather than massaging my muscles and she asked whether she should "leave that area", there was certainly not getting to any acupressure points as was the intention of the treatment, and then she flicked my bingo wings, which isn't a massage. It was just so embarrassing lying there having my fat flicked and oil brushed around my back. It felt like I was in the episode of Friends where Ross massages someone for Phoebe. I won't be back, and while I'm sure some practitioners must be great for the reviews to be so good, sadly mine were not competent in the treatments I had. Also horrible to then be blamed after giving feedback for "not being familiar with the treatment" and "being disrespectful" for giving feedback.

It's ok to not get things right as everyone is learning and growing and I'm so sorry if I left your staff feeling embarrassed. If I did it was only because of how embarrassed and uncomfortable the situation was. I now have to pay to get my nails redone and the whole experience was so frustrating, cringey and a waste of time for everyone.

Never been unhappy with a hair experience until coming to this place, inexperienced… I wanted balayage and then apparently my hair wasn’t long enough root wise to get a balayage (even though I have spoken to a hairdresser since, and they said I could definitely have had a balayage with pics I shown them) now I will have a harsh root as it grows out and it is a horrible yellow colour mixed with other shades it isn’t nice at all. I have no idea what happened. my hair is also uneven at the front cut wise. This has taught me to never try somewhere new.

Really great service at dollys and dimples. The staff are so polite and very warm and welcoming. They instatantly make you feel very comfortable! I had my eyebrows laminated and I was just in love! Definitely going to be a regular!!!
