On Thursday 12th June, me and my mum had booked in to get our nails done for a special occasion (my sisters wedding).
I asked for extensions, biab and nail art and my mum booked in for gel.
After the appointment, I noticed buildup of glue behind my thumbs which was uncomfortable, one of the nails was wonky, and the nails started to chip and damage a day later for both me and my mum.
I raised my concerns via facebook messenger and I was originally hoping for a partial refund as the service i received made me feel uncomfortable and I did not want to return. After some back and forth, my last message was read and ignored.
As the wedding was so close to this date, I did not have a lot of time to get my nails fixed. I have since had them removed and re-done elsewhere and was told by the nail technician that what i received at your salon was not extensions and biab and likely fake nails and gel.
My experience at La Moor Beauty had left me and my mum quite disappointed and upset considering our nails combined were £75.
After being ignored on Facebook, I tried emailing the owner. This was also ignored and that was 2 weeks ago.
Before I went to write a review, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and tried phoning to speak to the owner. Although, I did ask my partner to phone for me as I was so fed up at this point. The owner said they were with a client and would call me back. Once again, I have not heard from them.
The service we received was poor and the experience I have had trying to get in touch via different platforms has been appalling.
I am very disappointed in La Moor Beauty.

Huge selection of colours!! Had a nail lift off the day after once and the girls happily repaired it :) great service here, never disappointed
