Would only go if you have endless amounts of time and low expectations. I booked an appointment for 10:15 well in advance. I showed up a bit early happy to wait as I saw she was attending another lady. The nail tech said she’d start soaking my nails. After 25 minutes of them soaking I asked if I could take the foil off, this was already past the start of my appointment time. After taking off the foil she scrapped my nails a bit then left me to go back to the other person. I sat there doing nothing for 45min. It was an hour past my appointment start time before she even started filing my nails. She did a rush job of a regular gel polish instead of the BIAB I had wanted because there wasn’t enough time. She made the base too thin so after a week they started chipping already. I even told her not to bother with trimming my cuticles because my skin is thin and I was worried about her cutting me and getting an infection. The salon was also in need of a good cleaning as there was nail dust on every surface. Very disappointed as I would have liked to have a local salon I could rely on.

Had acrylics, pedicure and japanese head spa treatment with ruby and oh my gosh it was amazing. Fully recommend as someone who is autistic and anxious going for treatments like this, this was A+ and very accomodating. Thank you ruby!!! x

Faye was lovely with doing my eyebrows. I had trouble with the eyelashes though , I had to take them off as I couldn't open my eyes and the glue was stinging me.
She didn't charge me anything . Lovely young girl , thankyou x

My first time at Scruples in Royton but it certainly won't be the last. I am a newbie to this acrylic malarkey but the girls did such a fabulous job and made me feel very welcome. This will be my new place to go when need that extra pickup. Well done girls. See you soon

Visit to the beauty lounge for nails. My nail tech is the gorgeous Prisha who did a fantastic job on my first set of nails & then my infills with a different colour & design. I chose the colour - Prisha made the nails her own by adding some lovely sparkle art. All staff lovely and friendly, very professional and very welcoming right from my very first visit - even the other customers are lovely, joining in chit chat etc.. its a lovely down to earth beauty lounge. Just a little advice - be prepared to enjoy yourself - a visit here will definitely cheer you up.. Oh and Natalie is as mad as a bucket of frogs ( only in the nicest possible way ) :-) I will 100% be trying other treatments here, the list is endless, something for everyone. Very fairly priced too.

Olivia is incredible…. Not only did she pop on my gorgeous hand designed acrylics but she did my makeup. Olivia is the
only person who has ever done my makeup to my liking and I’m an awkward 39 year old.
