I have been here several times and I always have a great experience with Kim and she does my nails exactly how I ask. Normally get gel manicure. Professional and friendly. The nail salon is clean and has a relaxing atmosphere. Recommend going on a week day as it is less busy.

I only had a gel polish service done on my toes, and I left feeling really disappointed. The nails weren’t filed evenly, some looked crooked, and a few were filed down more than I’d like making the toe nail look almost nonexistent. The polish wasn’t applied close enough to my cuticles, so it already looks grown out. I was so unhappy with how they turned out that I had to come home and fix the nails myself, which made me really sad because I was looking forward to this service.

The place it’s self is lovely and clean, i have been here twice a twice my nails have fell of the following day i always get gel nail polish and it always chips within the next day so the guality of there products is not good. And that’s honest. Also customer service is not great when i asked the lady to just shape down the nails she caught and attitude and started being hostile even when first coming to this salon she never asked me to pay upfront. Then a lady who was a darker complection arrived she asked her to pay up front i started to feel uncomfortable when she sat next to me i asked her did she make you pay she replied with yes but i told her she never asked me this as soon as i arrived the lady was upset about this we both said to the ladies who was working why did you make her pay upfront and not me she replied because we make new customers pay upfront i said but im new to and you didn’t demand a payment she went a got the card machine and then asked me to pay also it was a very strange situation. Cc nails which is up the road is amazing.

I wish I had read the reviews before walking in with my niece for a gel manicure. This was her treat as she has her grad ceremony this week. Such a poor experience, I was so ashamed this is our high street retailer. Here’s a quick summary.
1. Staff is rude and racist. First words from the older lady’s mouth to my niece “where are you from”. Not in the warm curious way but in a way that is obvious in its connotation. Through the service they made us feel unwelcome and almost like they were doing us a favour. Everything was too much effort. My niece couldn’t even spend an extra minute selecting a colour without being made to feel like we were time wasters.
2. Poor job with nails. Thick stubby poorly done work. I am aghast they are still operating with such great nail salons in the area to choose from.
3. Another reviewers have mentioned, we too got harassed for payment. They accept bank transfer which I made in front of the lady. She checked everything, I got a confirmation. All good you would think. But no. Since they operate a business account transfers perhaps are not instant. She made us sit there wait uncomfortably and insinuated that we didn’t pay and could not leave till she got her money. After 15 exasperating minutes I walked out leaving them with all my details. Obviously the money was transferred but not a single polite word.
4. Inconsistent pricing. They have no displayed prices so please double check before you begin as they simply hike the price up mid service and when asked about what was agreed earlier we were simply told “that staff doesn’t know the rates” though that same staff member was present when the rates were shared. Anyways who will bother fussing over £3-5 once service has started.
I hope no one else walks in without reading reviews. There are many super trusted salons in the area and any of them will do a better job at a lower price with a polite service.

Second time I have gone to this shop to try and get a service done and I am now sure they have THE WORST customer service ever, the older lady is downright rude and at this point I think she is racist by the way she was talking to me and her attitude. I went in this morning to try to get a pedicure, she told me to come back at 12.30, I came back at 12.30 and she acted as if she had never seen me before and said they can’t do anything for me as I didn’t have an appointment?? I asked her why she told me to come back at 12.30 if she had no slots and she said she didn’t. The most ridiculous conversation I have ever had. I said I was in the shop less than an hour ago and all the staff heard her say come back at 12.30, they were all silent and looked away. I would not bother writing a review usually but this is the second time I have had an awful experience in this shop, I live locally but will travel now to literally any other shop that doesn’t treat their customers like this. Appalling behaviour.
