Awful waxing experience!
I booked here as the salon I normally go to was busy. Arrived there, wax hadn’t been melted so returned after an hour… instead of her seeing me she said she had two other customers so again I had to wait. When she did end up seeing me, she kept opening the door to other customers while I lay there. Very unprofessional & felt uncomfortable. £30 in Purley in ‘MS nail salon’ and they charge £40 Hollywood. Rip off! Please do not go here!!

I’ve been going to Sonia’s for some years and usually am very happy with my eyebrows. Recently the quality has gone down and there are lots of new people doing the services. The last couple of times I have gone there, I have been disappointed with my eyebrows. They are cutting them very short at the front not following the natural shape of the brows, threading the front so short and uneven leaving them looking terrible. I always specify what I want but I never asked for the front to be cut shorter. Especially when they use the scissors at the end, the last few times they have cut the front way too short. Feels like the ladies just do whatever they want with your eyebrows. Unfortunately they have lost a customer and I will not be returning as I am quite angry. First picture is my eyebrows before.

I got my Full face hot waxed and then thread by Isha. She was so nice and professional. Made my eyebrows perfectly and i didn’t even feel any pain by her. Totally recommended by my side

My eyebrow was uneven but hats off to Sonia. She managed to make them alike. Throughout the whole time staff was professional.Sonia was so nice to me and greeted me nicely at the time I was leaving.I’ll keep coming back here.

The first couple of times I went to Sonia it was good however the next couple of times I was a bit picky with my eyebrows as they weren’t equal or there were some hair missing or too much was cut off. I then asked Sonia to fix it for me and she got really grumpy and just put gel on my eyebrows to finish the job. I gave the benefit of the doubt and went again and Sonia didn’t even say hi to me and ignored me which I found really rude and no Customer Service. I’m always kind and just because I want my eyebrows the way I want doesn’t make me a difficult customer, It’s what I’m paying for.
Won’t be coming back and don’t recommend. There is Abi’s salon down the road which is better.

First time I came I had no problem. The lady on the Saturday listen to exactly what I wanted and I left happy. I went back today (Sunday) and asked for my eye brows to be tidied, not thinned to keep the shape even showed a picture. I wanted to keep the volume and didn’t want the middle between my eyebrows touched. I closed my eyes and felt scissors and the area between my eye brows being threaded. I immediately asked her to stop several times and she continues to thin my brows. Asked me to look in the mirror and I could’ve cried (I did in fact cry). I now have two very different eyebrows which are going to take at least 3 months to grow back. I’m incredibly disappointed and wouldn’t recommend the lady that works on a Sunday. She freestyled my eyebrows which I did not ask for. I’ve added pictures of what I asked for and what I got

I’ve been going to Sonia for my brows and honestly, she never disappoints. She really knows how to shape eyebrows to suit your face, and the results are always clean, precise, and flawless. She’s gentle, professional, and genuinely talented at what she does. Highly recommend.
