I’m leaving 2 stars because I’ve actually been coming to Hannah’s Nails in Bexleyheath for the last couple of years, and I usually always have Hannah do my nails. Hannah is absolutely amazing every single time without fail, which is why this experience was so disappointing.

I visited on Wednesday evening between around 5–6pm and was seated with a blonde woman who I believe was called Lou. Unfortunately, the experience was completely different from what I’m used to here. She came across as rude whenever I spoke to her and seemed very rushed throughout the whole appointment.

My nails were done in under 20 minutes, and even a day later they are already chipped and look like they’ve been on for weeks. Whenever I asked for something, there always seemed to be an excuse. For example, I asked if my nails could be a little more pointy and was told they were too short to do that, but then she continued changing the shape anyway.

Overall she came across as difficult, moody and quite dismissive, which made the whole appointment uncomfortable. I’ve always had positive experiences here before, but this visit was really off-putting and has genuinely made me question whether I would return.

I’ve been coming here for a while now and I honestly couldn’t recommend them more. The team are always so warm, welcoming and genuinely kind — they really make you feel looked after every single time.

The quality of the nails is consistently amazing, with so much attention to detail, and they always take their time to make sure everything is perfect. I never feel rushed, and they always listen to exactly what I want.

It’s such a lovely, calm atmosphere as well, which makes the whole experience even better. You can tell they really care about their clients.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent eyebrow service. During the treatment, a layer of my skin was ripped off, leaving a painful, raw mark on my eyelid. This is a serious safety and technique concern. I expected a professional standard of care and instead left with an injury that will take days to heal.

This salon is run by owners who are clearly more interested in taking your money than looking after their customers. There is absolutely no sense of responsibility, no care for safety, and no respect for the people who walk through their doors.

Instead of addressing serious concerns or showing basic professionalism, the owners focus only on defending their business and protecting their profits. Customer well-being means nothing to them. It’s all about the money — nothing else.

If you want a place where you feel safe, respected, and valued, look elsewhere. This salon has made it very clear that greed comes before customers.

My wife visited this salon to get her nails done and brought our 3-year-old son with her. While she was having her nails done, one of the staff members kissed my son on the mouth, even after she was clearly told not to. This is completely inappropriate and a serious violation of boundaries.

What made the situation even worse was the owner’s reaction. Instead of apologising or taking the matter seriously, she did nothing about it and was more focused on defending her business than acknowledging how wrong and unsafe this was. There was no accountability, no reassurance, and no understanding of how unacceptable this behaviour is.

No parent should have to worry about their child being touched or kissed by staff. This salon showed a complete lack of professionalism, responsibility, and basic respect.

We will not be returning, and other parents should be aware of how poorly this was handled

I had a very disturbing experience at Hannah’s Nails and Beauty. While I was getting my nails done, a staff member named THAY Vu suddenly kissed my young son without my permission. This was completely inappropriate and unacceptable.

As a parent, I expect my child’s boundaries to be respected at all times. No one should ever touch or kiss a child without the parent’s consent. I am shocked and disappointed that this happened in a professional setting.

What makes this worse is that the owner showed no concern for my child’s safety and seemed to care only about money rather than protecting customers and their families.

I have reported this incident to the police. If anyone else has had a similar experience, I strongly encourage you to report it as well. Parents, please be careful if you go there with your children safety should always come first.
