I went to this Salon for a couple of months. I had quite mixed experiences here. The BIAB sets themselves were often nice and the cuticle work was usually very precise, which I did appreciate. However, overall I don’t feel the service matched the price point.
The removal was once done by an intern and felt very rough on my natural nails, which made me a bit concerned about nail health. I’m not sure if that’s everyone’s experience, but it definitely wasn’t what I expected at this price.
I also noticed that the edges of my nails were often over-filed, even though I specifically asked for them not to be. I usually go for an oval shape, not pointy, but the sides still ended up quite thin. On one occasion the nails were unevenly filed and this was blamed on my natural nails, which surprised me as I’ve had my nails done for years by European professionals who always paid close attention to nail health and technique, and I never had that issue before.
When my nails started lifting, I was told something must be wrong with me or that I might be missing vitamins. However, my nails didn’t lift when I went to a different stylist previously, and interestingly the lifting only started when I began coming here.
Overall, while the nails often looked nice at first, I found the focus seemed more on getting clients through rather than long-term nail health and careful technique. For the price point the have set for themselves I expected more consistency and care, however was slightly disappointed. For me, it ended up being just okay overall. I can’t complain about the service as everyone was nice, the nail health and over- filing was my main concern.

That said, we do feel a little disheartened reading your review after the care and time we invested in your appointments. We always aim to provide the best service possible and to be honest and professional with every client.

Regarding pricing, we gently want to clarify that comparing independent European nail technicians to a registered salon business isn’t always equivalent. As a business, we have significantly higher operating costs, which are reflected in our pricing, while still striving to maintain quality and consistency.

In terms of your nail health, your natural nail beds are very thin, and we did raise concerns during your visits. When we suspected you might be reacting to BIAB, we immediately recommended removing the product and taking a break to protect your nails. If our only goal was to make money or retain clients, we would never suggest removing your nails and pausing treatments—but your nail health always comes first for us.

It’s also important to clarify that while hard gel and BIAB may look similar, they are completely different products. Many European technicians use hard gel, which is not soaked off and is often left as a thin layer on the nail, giving the impression of strength. BIAB, on the other hand, is a soak-off product, so once removed, your nails return to their natural state—especially if they are already thin.

We always prioritise nail health and would never intentionally over-file or compromise a client’s nails. Our goal is long-term care, and we do our best to tailor our approach to each individual.

I recently checked out this nail salon, and I was really impressed! First off, it’s super clean—definitely one of the cleanest places I’ve ever been to. You can tell they take hygiene seriously, which is a big plus.

The staff there are really friendly and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. A unique touch is that they use Byredo and Diptyque hand creams and hand washes, which I usually only see in fancy hotels!

It is a bit pricier than some other spots, but honestly, the quality and experience you get here are totally worth it. I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a great manicure!

Ive been visiting Nails lab for almost a year now, and overall, I have had a positive experience! The environment is clean and the staff are always friendly. The manager is quite strict about their policies, they only accept appointments and you need to pay a deposit each time so its somewhat inconvenient. But you get used to it. However, the great thing is that I have never waited more than five minutes for my appointment because everything is booked in advance. It's great they take card payments unlike so many other salons that prefer cash or only take cash. I will continue to support this salon moving forward

Everyone there is super friendly and makes you feel really comfortable. The place is clean, cozy, and has a super chill vibe. I’ve had my nails done by all the techs and they’re all amazing—seriously, you can’t go wrong. They always take their time and my nails come out perfect every single time. Love this place!

They don't care much about the client when it comes to book an appointment, and they don't respond to messages on Instagram as they themselves request.

I came for BIAB + gel colour and was really happy with the service! The nail tech checked in a number of times to see that I was ok with the shape, length, and colour. I asked for her opinion on BIAB colour and gel colour, she was honest and really helpful. Great customer service, great location with parking close by and a lovely team of people.
