My appointment at 0900 today was marred by the fact that the premises were absolutely freezing. Little different from the street outside on an extremely cold day.

The Manager was extremely dismissive of my concern about my sitting to relevant in such cold. I began to shiver. She suggested that it was my fault that I was cold. The heating appears to come from small plug in heaters which were all on the side where the staff sit. The system is clearly inadequate.

The only other customer, who was braving these conditions was dressed like an Eskimo, offered me her coat, which eventually I accepted. I went back later for the pedicure as I could not face the thought of taking my shoes and socks off.

In the past I have had good experiences at this nail bar. However, the current Manager failed on every level to treat me with respect. If there are regulations to cover this type of retail outlet the temperature must be well below them.

Sky Nails always do such a great job. I get BYAB and everyone always comments on how nice my nails look. I most recently got ombré nails with them and have had sooo many compliments. They work fast, I’m never in there for more than an hour, and they’re always so nice. Plus their loyalty scheme is great! I’m so happy I started coming here for my nails.

absolutely terrible do not go here!! asked them to shorten my nails slightly and they filed all the way down to my finger. looks shocking nothing like i asked for £40 down the drain!! completely unprofessional, did not even ask if i liked the shape or length before filling them all down. will not be returning

Would not recommend for biab! Although the staff are friendly and environment is nice, i’ve come here multiple times for biab nails. Every single time the builder gel is applied too thick causing me and others significant pain when put under the heat lamp. Too the extent that i’ve passed out on 2 occasions. When this happened the staff were quick to react and help me which i’m very grateful for. However this shouldn’t happen. Getting your nails done should be a pleasurable experience not one of extreme burning sensation and fainting, which before coming to this salon i had never experienced. On the times where I actually managed to get to the end of the appointment, i’ve always been very satisfied with the outcome and they always do a very good job. However, nothing is worth that pain and I think they should rethink how they apply biab nails.
