I recently visited Cindy for the first time, and I couldn't be happier with my nails! She was so attentive, professional, and made sure every detail was perfect. Cindy took the time to listen to what I wanted and gave great suggestions based on my preferences. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, and I felt completely at ease throughout the appointment. My nails look absolutely stunning, and I've already received so many compliments! I’ll definitely be coming back to Cindy. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and friendly nail technician!

I visited Potters Nails today as I have been doing sporadically for many months. I normally only get a pedicure done there as after years and years of acrylic extensions on my nails, I wanted to give them a chance to grow and heal. However, today, I decided to get a pedicure and a manicure.

My pedicure was absolutely fine as usual and as always I was happy with it. However, my nails have been completely sabotaged. I went in with long, natural nails that I had left to grow on purpose so that the nail technician had something to work with. It’s safe to say that she absolutely butchered my nails and instead of shaping them as a square with round edges (which is the shape that we agreed upon), they are now all completely different shapes and lengths with some of them even ending up as blunt triangles.

I contacted Potters Nails to advise them that I was unhappy and the reason why I hadn’t stated this before I left was due to my childcare ringing me as something urgent had come up and I had to rush off to pick up my 1 year old. They advised me that if I returned, they would rectify the problem for me. I stated that I did not want to return and would never be returning. I also advised them that I didn’t live close to the shop and it actually took me 35/40 minutes to travel to them. Later on that afternoon, I requested a partial refund (purely for the manicure as I was entirely happy with my pedicure) and they stated that they would grant me one if I returned to the shop for them to remove the gel on my hands. This was not an option, as by this point I had already had my nails redone (I am 35 weeks pregnant and time is of the essence as I am due into hospital for a c-section shortly).

They are finding any excuse possible to not give me a partial refund. The excuses are, that they need me to come in to sign a refund form (I’ve asked for this to be sent via email due to the fact that I am so heavily pregnant and that the shop isn’t close to my home). Despite moving house I continued to return to them out of loyalty as I’ve always been satisfied with the pedicures that I’ve received. The other excuse was that they need me in the shop to process a refund (despite the fact that they don’t take card payments and I paid via bank transfer).

I never leave negative reviews as I know how important a review page is to a small business, however, on this occasion the lack of customer service and empathy has compelled me to do so.

For my birthday I knew I had to get my nails done here and it was absolutely worth getting them. They were very cute and lasted a long time and were exactly the way I wanted them from the reference photo I showed. Will come again 🙂
