I pride myself in giving my client's the best advice and care that I can at The Beauty Box, Upper Largo. So I was disappointed to find your 1 star review on Google.
You were at the beginning of your holiday and I had come out of treatment especially to speak to you regarding your nails.
Now I do not offer acrylic application or acrylic removal.
You had a plaster on your thumb and complained that you had knocked it and wasn't sure if it had separated from the nail bed and wanted the whole set off. I explained to you that I couldn't take them off and no professional nail technician would because we are unaware where the nails had been applied previously and what products were used and any further damage to your nails including the nail that was already injured would fall fault to me.
That is why I advised you to attend the hospital to see about the injured nail. It wasn't that it was too small of a job, I provided you with the care that I would provide any of my client's with if they came to me with this problem.
Even if I could have taken them off, I was in the middle of a treatment and fully booked.
Because of my professionalism and care I was reviewed 1 star which lowers my overall rating to 4.7 on Google which is disheartening as I work hard for the reputation of my business.
I am truly sorry that I did act in a professional manner and that if I did not my insurance would not cover my business if there was further damage to your nails. I am sorry that your expectations were not met and glad that your issue with your nails was rectified to the next salon that you attended. Unfortunately I do require notice for appointments as they are booked in advance.
