I was given a voucher for as a birthday gift, which unfortunately expired on 10th January.

I contacted the salon a week later, leaving a voicemail to explain the situation and to say I was also hoping to book in for a nail appointment at the same time.

Despite this, the voucher was refused outright.

I completely understand that expiry dates exist, but I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility. This is a small, local beauty salon, and a short grace period would have gone a long way in creating goodwill, especially as I was looking to spend additional money with them.

A real shame, as I was genuinely looking forward to visiting.

Our vouchers are clearly issued with a six-month validity period, which is stated at the time of purchase. As a small local business, we do have to apply our policies consistently to ensure fairness to all clients.

We do appreciate you reaching out and your interest in booking additional treatments with us, and we’re genuinely sorry that this situation meant you didn’t get to visit as planned. Went for a back massage because I was feeling stressed and lots of knots in my shoulders. I had the 30 minute treatment with Cydney who was amazing. Left feeling taller and totally relaxed.

Fantastic experience! Lucy did my nails and lash lift - she was amazing and incredibly kind, also so professional and efficient. Highly recommend!!
