A very big shop with everything you are looking for. The staff are nice and helpful. The perfume was on sale + student discount.

However, dont get their HiSmile toothbrush head replacement. It wont fit with the toothbrush model and not sure why that is.

I came in to exchange a perfume that I bought during the Christmas period. However, I was given the wrong perfume to what I actually bought.

I drove an hour to come and exchange the perfume, as my local Superdrug was not able to do the exchange. Before traveling, I called twice beforehand to ensure something could be done about the issue.

On arrival, I explained my issue and the staff called the store manager. Once the store manager comes over to me, I was not welcomed with a hi or a hello, she bluntly claims the perfume I am looking to exchange for (that I originally bought/wanted) has never been sold in their Superdrug branch. Baffled - I walk to the YSL men’s perfume section and point to the exact one that she is claiming she has never seen in her store or has never sold. Even after saying that I am more than positive they did indeed sell the fragrance I was looking for, she claims to not know that they had it. As a customer, why can I point out stock better than the staff?

As stated before, I called asking if they had the fragrance, just to save my travel. They claimed they didn’t - however I did indeed find the bottle I was enquiring for hiding behind the others. It just goes to show that the staff do not update or know about their stock, leaving customers like me left looking uninformed and clueless. The manager, who proudly wears her badge saying ‘5 Years of Service’ should not be speaking to customers the way she has spoken to me.

On another note, the murmuring comments and passive exchange of looks are also not appreciated. This is the worst customer service I have ever had at a Superdrug and in the end, I refunded my item as I did not wish to further support this Superdrug branch.

This incident happened on Sunday the 28th of December 2025. I have reported this to the Superdrug complaints team as I personally would not want to be served by a person with such a lack of customer service and being fed and accused misinformation from staff, as customer point of view.

I don’t normally leave reviews but today I was left feeling embarrassed. I was buying some makeup from Superdrug and I was paying with a £50 note I had which was gifted to me. The lady who served me was lovely, but as I had a £50 note she needed to get some one else to check it. 3 staff members were looking at this note under a light to see if it was real. I then got told that my note is fake by the lady who came out to check the note and that it isn’t real and got told to look in the UV light to see, I could see the 50 shinning through but got told it’s meant to be bighter which means I have a fake note. There was a Que behind me and that’s all I had on me so I just left the shop feeling embarrassed and mortified of being accused of handling a fake £50 note. I went to the bank straight after , the bank fully checked the note and confirmed it is a real £50 note. I’ve never felt so embarrassed in a shop in my life.

We went into the store to get an ear piercing. Told would need to return 30 minutes later and when we returned the piercing lady had gone home even though she had advised us to return knowing she would be finishing her shift. Not great service, severally disappointed and will not recommend the store due to this.
