I’ve been coming to this nail shop for many years and always happy with my nails. I come every 3 weeks , price is reasonable. Staff are friendly and always helpful when I need directions for nail design
I had my nails done here for the first time a few months ago and they turned out lovely and the process didn’t feel rushed as I was the only person in there. However, I returned tonight to get Christmas nails and I’m feeling really disappointed. First of all, there was no system in place so that the first person waiting gets seen first. I arrived before other people did but they got seen first and I expressed that I was there before them but the staff weren’t interested. As it was very busy, everything seemed extremely rushed. The shape isn’t what I asked for and I’ve had to file the edges myself as they are incredibly wonky. I also wanted a minimal design (picture below), but instead of hand drawing, they used a gingerbread man sticker which is already peeling at the corners. The candy canes were drawn on and the one on my right hand looks decent, but I think the one in the first picture looks terrible. No effort went into it at all and she didn’t check with me to see if I was satisfied. Another thing I’d like to add is that there is absolutely no nail care, and they can be quite rough which made me bleed at multiple points. It seems like they make their prices up as they go along, as I was quoted £41 but was charged £45 for ‘nail art’ although they used a sticker, so it’s not really art is it? Especially when it was badly applied. They are also way shorter than I wanted and this wasn’t agreed with me before she trimmed them. I feel like I have blobs on my nails. Altogether, the process for acrylics with a design only took about 40 minutes which shows how rushed they were, as this process should take at least an hour when done right. I’m very disappointed and I think that they should focus on quality rather than how many customers they can fit in. For reference, I asked for almond shaped and this is what I got… I know they could be worse but this is not a professional job like they advertise all over their social media.
Had gel nails. They sanded my nails down to paper. They painted all over my skin. The lady was really rough and hurt me when I asked her to remove it from my skin. The gel on my actual nails is messy and not the colour I selected. All in all this was painful, stressful and unpleasant.
I go there all the time to have my nails done
A shocking £15 for gel removal. My daughter was in there for 7 minutes and only had them buffed off. No care taken. Nails still bumpy.
The young girl hear is awful and so rude. Really rough as well. Her attention was everywhere but on my nails. Tutting at everything. Didn’t ask what shape I wanted just assumed. She was only polite when paying thought she was in for a tip. I also think they should be speaking in English when there are customers around. Very rude
Nails looked amazing but they charged my 12 year old £50 for acrylics with a design. They were also quite rude to a Polish lady who had difficulty understanding due to the language barrier
Do not recommend this salon! Very rushed and absolutely no consideration for customer service! They have limited options for colours and styles (don't be fooled by their social media pictures). I showed them the colour and style I wanted and they couldn't get close. I left the premises and inspected my nails with friends, for everyone to notice that a lot were wonky and badly placed. Terribly filed with some of them too! I asked for winter colours and got summer colours! I've not had my nails done in many, many years and was hoping to feel good before the holidays, but I can't wait until they grow out. I kindly asked them if they could sort them if I returned and even offered to pay (I was that disappointed in them). Completely didn't want to know and refused to do them for free after paying £40 already or wouldn't even accept at a lower price to fix them! I got quoted £32 for plain acrylics and had to pay £40 cash at the till! I also had to clean my nails afterward, because the post care was shabby too. If you're looking to spend your hard earned money on good nails, this is not the salon. Paying all that money for absolutely no regard to their customers and it's just quantity over quality with them. With the cost of living increased and the terrible wages, £40 is a lot to spend on a bad service! Save your hard earned money and spend it a nail salon who takes consideration into their services provided! Very disappointed.
First time being here. Cash only which I should have checked but! She was very polite, asked me if things was right, saw me within minutes, matched exactly what I wanted 🥰 not bad for £43. Definitely coming back
Quality service worth the price short wait time and amazing execution of inspirations picture.
Had a pedicure. What should have been a lovely experience was quite the opposite. Rough, rushed and very painful. I’ll never go again.
Service is quick and friendly, I usually walk in and they immediately take me in no booking needed, very simple and easy. My nails always turn out exactly how I wanted, I definitely recommend
