Arrived when no one was waiting, two more girls arrived after me, and both were served and had their nails done before me. I’m not sure if it’s discrimination of nationality and ethnicity or just poor service, but I’d recommend going somewhere else like coco nails, guaranteed to be served and not mistreated.

Terrible service, had my nails done couple of weeks ago and they did an awful job but I didn’t have time to stay and redo them, came back this morning to have my nails done and this time it was just as bad. Apart from hurting me with nail file to the point of bleeding, the extensions were stuck on to my nail at a weird angle leaving a gap between my natural nail and plastic tip. I was charged £50 for something I could have done better myself with no training. The surface of my nails looks like it was painted over the dust and there is lots of bubbling as well. I will not be going back there and wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy.

One of the worst manicures I’ve ever had. My nails are lumpy and uneven and have already started to chip after 3 days (the texture was impossible to see in the salon as it’s a nude colour). I’m not local and called in here for pure convenience as I was meeting someone at the bus station, but if I lived locally I would never use this salon again.

My experience I had at Carmarthen nails was nothing short of shocking. The service was so poor. I had gone there with the intention to treat myself as have been having a hard time of late. I regretted that decision hugely after the way I was treated and spoken too by the male nail tech I had. I explained I didn't get my nails done really so was a new experience for me, some guidance would have been great. He asked if I wanted extensions I said no thanks id like to keep my length nails, I showed him a photo and then asked if it would be doable, he said yes. He did one nail, asked if I was happy, I asked if I could have the line a little thicker on top and thinner on sides please, to which he replied "are you serious" I got embarrassed and went totally silent, he then continued to make me feel super small by asking me "do you get your nails done often, no I can tell you don't" "that's like walking into a hair dressers with a photo of a person's head and hair and expecting to leave looking exactly the same, it doesn't work like that" by this point I was so taken a back, I had tears in my eyes. Then another member of staff came up to help and calm the situation, he then had to go have a cigarette to calm down!! The nails where then finished by another 2 ladies. I wanted both hands to have chrome, but only one was done properly, the other looks dull in comparison. I was still just upset and silent by this point. I went to pay, was polite thanked the ladies who finished of my nails, was quite surprised when I was still charged full wack! I will not ever return to this nail salon.

sometimes - especially on Saturdays, you have to expect a wait, they do their best to keep all customers happy, I’ve always been treated kindly here so my advice would be to treat people how you want to be treated, they’re amazing at what they do but they’re also working very hard sometimes with high demand which would be tiring for anyone - so be thoughtful and understand everyone makes mistakes - mention it with respect and they’ll be happy to fix it.
