I had a bespoke facial with Sasha, and it was one of the best facials I’ve had! Really relaxing and comfortable facilities. My skin felt great in the days following, hydrated and I had no breakouts either!

The massage itself was alright. However I paid for 1 hour for my massage and it finished in less than 50 mins. Plus the changing side and making myself comfortable on the massage bed the total time of the actual massage was probably only about 35-40min, which is quite expensive.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was incredibly disappointing, especially for the price point and what is marketed as a relaxing spa experience.

We booked a 90-minute couples massage and unfortunately the experience fell far below expectations from start to finish.

The waiting room was dirty, overcrowded, and did not feel clean or relaxing at all. When I went to get a glass of water, the first glass I touched had a sticky substance on the outside of it, which immediately made me question the cleanliness of the entire facility.

The overall hygiene standards throughout the spa were concerning. The bathroom had a single shared hand towel for all guests to dry their hands on, which felt extremely unsanitary. The carpet leading downstairs to the couples massage room was stained and looked like it had not been cleaned in a very long time.

The massage room itself felt damp and overly warm. There was nowhere appropriate to place or hang belongings besides a small basket. We were instructed to lie on towels placed over the sheets, and even the face cradle was covered with towels. Combined with the overall condition of the spa, this honestly gave the impression that the sheets may not be changed between appointments. The towels themselves were rough and scratchy, and my skin actually broke out afterward.

The massage itself was average at best. It felt repetitive and very basic, without any intuition or personalization. I’m used to massage therapists paying attention to tension points and adjusting techniques accordingly, but this felt like the exact same motions repeated over and over.

The amount of oil used was also excessive. We were asked beforehand if a little oil in the hair was okay for the scalp massage, which I agreed to because I’ve had scalp massages before without issue. However, the amount used was honestly absurd. My hair looked completely greasy afterward to the point that I had to stop at Boots before dinner and spend extra money on dry shampoo just to look presentable in public.

The therapists never properly introduced themselves, which added to the lack of professionalism throughout the experience. To make matters worse, once the massage ended, we barely had time to get dressed before staff started knocking on the door telling us to hurry up.

The biggest issue is that you go to a spa to leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and cared for. Instead, I left feeling dirty, uncomfortable, and gross. Overall, the experience felt unhygienic, unprofessional, and poorly executed. I would not recommend this spa.

Thank you for being so lovely, friendly, and welcoming! This was my first massage experience, and Sasha made me feel truly calm and relaxed throughout. My mother also had a facial with Charlie and thought she was absolutely lovely. We both had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this eco spa.
