Google They're an absolute disgrace. The young boy was pulling my cuticles and then the girl took over. She was no better. They put the Polish on without taking the old polish off and on top of the handcream.
We don't have any male staff.
Google I recently had a full body massage and face waxing at Velvet Nails, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! The atmosphere was calming and inviting, making it the perfect place to unwind.
The massage was incredibly relaxing, with the therapist skillfully targeting my tension areas. I left feeling rejuvenated and stress-free.
As for the waxing, the esthetician was professional and attentive, ensuring I was comfortable throughout the process. The results were fantastic—smooth and flawless!
Overall, I highly recommend Velvet Nails for their excellent services and friendly staff. I can’t wait to return!

Google Sophie did a wonderful job with my awkward length short nails that had some damage. They are now nicely shaped and I adore the chrome effect on them. The team were very welcoming and professional, I will definitely go again.

Google shocking nails. literally look like they are done by a child. extremely overpriced, £70 for SHORT almond french tips. messy paint job, lack of shades of nude nail polishes. had to literally scrape the remaining gel out of the tub. i wouldn’t spend £70 on GOOD nails never mind these which were literally awful as seen in the photos attached. do not go there, awfully overpriced and awful work.
Google Velvet nails is great, the technician takes great care and pride in there work, the range of colours hard to choose. My nails always look great would highly recommend

Google Booked an appointment- I was 5 min late - she looked at me and said you are 5 min late - l took somebody else and send me away.
Don’t bother go there! Super unfriendly!!!
For the absence of doubt: we are entirely unapologetic about this. If it gets to five minutes past the hour for a one hour appointment and we have heard nothing from you then of course we'll assume it's a no-show. Please remember that we will have turned other people away in the time leading up to your appointment. If we can salvage that lost time by serving a walk-in customer then we will do so. I hope none of this is a surprise for you because it is common courtesy.
If you had phoned ahead and acknowledged your error then of course we would have waited, up to a point. But we have other bookings after you for people who don't need to be delayed by your own carelessness.

Google I would not recommend this place extremely rude staff who clearly doesn't know a thing about how to be nice or approach people! Nails looked like a 3 year old done them! Ladies an gents don't waste your money head to Preston Street I had one of the best services after this mo day morning nightmare. Clicked little shop if your not a regular an are new you will not be made to feel welcome an even have some of the customers being extremely rude. Sworn at an called names. Trading standards have been contacted after today!! Let's get this place shut down! Honestly the worst place I've ever been for nails.
