I’ve been coming here for years, but the service has declined badly. Staff have been rude on the phone, hung up on me multiple times, and once left me waiting 40 minutes despite plenty of empty seats, even after I explained I have health conditions and can’t sit for long. They don’t listen to what I ask for and rush through services, leaving me disappointed and feeling unheard. After several poor experiences, it’s clear they’re not interested in providing good service or respecting their customers.

I have been using star nails for years. For the past 6 months the service and quality of products has declined.On 2 occasions I have had to revisit to have my nails redone.

Just had a pedicure today, very rushed and disappointing pedicure was not done well. Prices have been increased even thought it’s all cash. Little customer care, they talk amongst themselves in their language. I have been going there a long time however, the pedicure and manicure with polish has gone down in finish. Very disappointed.

I went to Star nails yesterday afternoon and got a pedicure and acrylics on my nails. The lady who did my pedicure was nice however when I asked to use the toilet before starting my feet she didn’t wait and took on another customer so I had to wait for my turn again - so confusing. When I had my acrylics done it wasn’t a very pleasant experience. My request for short nails and shape was ignored and the person kept asking me personal questions about my romantic life and wanting to see a picture of my boyf? I was just laughing but he kept going so I had to ignore him. I wanted a square oval shape and I got just square then I was upset because I told him it was too long for my job and he ignored me. They charged me £80 in the end. Pedi was rushed as lady only did one coat, but she did treat me feet which was nice. But I had to do my nails myself again when I got home as I had rectangular nails and I was so upset!! Wish I had taken a photo before doing them again to post :( Never again!! 😔😔

People complain regarding prices I always pay the price for what ever treatment I have. If you have tips that’s extra removal is extra, if you have a design that’s extra, if you have ombré it’s extra. To stop people moaning about price tell them what you want and get cost before they do it. You pay for what you have done.

It is a very busy nail bar so don’t think if you’re looking for a luxury relaxing manicure or pedicure that you should choose here. But if you’re there for pretty nails and toes this is the place for you.

I’ve never been disappointed here but today I had an Awful set of nails done very lumpy to the point I need to get them re done somewhere else plus the man put the drill under my nail so deep It bled and is so sore and not one sorry or apology or even an offer of a free set. Very disappointed

Had a shellac pedicure. Really good quality, but this is obviously a very busy shops, so the whole experience felt rushed. Considering how much I was paying, I was in an out in under 15 minutes. If you are after quick but good, this is the place for you. If you are after a more relaxed luxurious experience... Go elsewhere.

Always very welcoming, very happy with the service provided. Having said this in a review I was not happy today to see a visible swastika tattoo on one of the male nail technicians . Totally inappropriate and should be covered at ALL TIMES !!!

Every time I go there I have to wait but then that means they’re good so I don’t mind! Bit confused with the prices they charge but I’m happy with their service overall
