I'd like to say that I'm very satisfied with the service today. This is the first time I've been to this place and I had to admit it was one of the best experiences. Each nail was has been focused on and the effects are stunning. Definitely one of the places I will definitely come back to.

Male technician doesn’t know how to remove acrylics properly. I had to tell him there’s still acrylic on my natural nails, which he then removed.

I also suspect they’re either racist or discriminatory because they didn’t even finish the treatment before asking me for payment. They also assumed I didn’t pay them even though I showed them the receipt of payment on my banking app. Shan’t be going back there. I usually go to Pure Nails but the queue was too long. Won’t cheat on them again!

I’ve only recently started going to five star nails upon recommendation from a friend. The first 2 times for the initial application and infill I had Ann do my nails, I can’t fault her at all, hence why I have put a review for 2 stars instead of one. She did my nails lovely and I can tell she has a real passion for her job. The same cannot be said for some of her employees. I went to get my biab nails removed and put on again (so that I could have a different shape), and the men in that salon had next to no idea how to operate the shop or what they were doing. The man who did my nails was the better of the three as he was the only one who even made any attempt to listen but still ruined my nails. I left the salon satisfied with the design but felt my nails were very thin and brittle .. despite the fact I went in for biab- meant to be a strong layer to help grow the nails!woe and behold not even 2 days after getting them done 2 of my nails have broken! you can see from the picture that my nails have not grown out at all which should tell you how fresh they were. I am so disappointed. After paying £55 for this set, which I believe is more than the price list but I did not dispute it because i understand the man doing my nails had a hard time doing the design, but in hindsight I should’ve done since he filed my nails and biab down so much they have broken. I worked hard to grow my nails out as well so I’m very disheartened this has happened. And that is not even the worst of the experience… my friend who was with me got acrylic with powder and specifically asked for ombre with powder and had expressed that she did not want airbrush because she didn’t like it when Ann had done it for her before. The man doing her nails did not listen at all. He went ahead and did a pink powder base and she has asked several times throughout the treatment wether he was going to do powder ombre like she had asked, and he said yes. Despite this he did not do a powder ombre and got the airbrush tool out, it took several minutes of her expressing she had specifically asked for this not to be done and other clients chipping in for him to file her nails down and redo the powdered ombre. In the progress of this he also injured my friend and made her bleed due to being too rough- with absolutely no apology! You should be listening to your clients especially when what they’re asking for is not a big thing at all. And thanks to that you gave unfortunately lost two clients. I feel very sorry for Ann to have these people working under her and bringing such a terrible reputation to five star nails. I regret paying as much as I did for the set as I will now have to find elsewhere to get my nails done and pay out even more.

Love my nails very quick and simple.
My only issue is that there was only one lady and she had a few customers on a Easter Monday holiday which is not okey I think it would be better to have two people at least who can do nails
Bless her heart she did everything right and made sure the customers are happy with there’s nails the lady had to stay behind extra few hours to finish the last customer nails.
It’s better to have two workers when it comes to bank holidays or any other holidays when shops supposed to close earlier

Absolutely terrible experience. Gave different prices to me and my friend for exactly the same nails.
Lady was soooo rude. She did my acrylics so bad, even a child could have done a better job than her. She completely ruined my nails. After I asked her to sort them out she for angry at me.
I complained to the other woman about how I didn't like the nails and she completely ignored me. Paid £40 for a set of plain acrylics. There price list shows £25 on the board but they charged me £40 saying prices are not updated. Avoid this place at all cost.

Walked in this morning and was attended to. I was the only person in the store ( not complaining). The price list on the wall needs to be changed other than that, I had a good experience. The lady doing my acrylics was nice and took her time. She kept checking with me if I was happy with the shape and length. I would definitely go again.

Friendly, good price and very good service. First time coming here I always get unique nails as you can see and they did them exactly like the pic I showed them. Very happy 😊

I contracted a bacterial infection on all toes following a pedicure at 5 star nails. I waited for 1 hour and was the first pedi of the day with cold instruments that I presumed were cleaned the night before. I made contact 3 times with them and was told to complain in store, on doing this the lady would not take accountability or refund. Made excuse saying I ate something I was allergic to and said I had kicked something to damage toes. Terrible service. Awful hygiene. Unable to take accountability. Rude.

Went here to get my nails done for Xmas and provided a picture of what I wanted and they turned out perfect! They didn’t nick my skin like most places do and they were very quick and the nails lasted a month at least which is a record for me!
