Diabolical customer service. Just been back less than 48 hours after having my nails painted as it is all peeling off! I don’t expect to pay £25 for a nail varnish which is going to start peeling off within 48 hours been doing something strenuous with my hands that caused the nail polish to pale. Then she changed her mind and said it was because I just had gel nails taken off and my nails were now very thin if that was the case why didn’t she tell me before I got the nail varnish on then it was just gonna pee off and I was wasting my money. . I’m not happy obviously, but she wasn’t willing to do anything at all about it apart from me choosing another colour and then paying for it again. I have put this review on as I don’t want anyone else getting duped and wasting their money in this nail salon, I’ve chosen one star because you can’t put zero it’s a negative from me.

although this place is cheap and the nails are somewhat good, the staff here are rude. they are very rough with your hands forgetting your hand is attached to your arm. i have never seen staff members in any shop behave this way towards their customers. surely if the customers are paying you for a service, you’d want them to all have a good experience so they keep coming back?? even when one of the staff members was speaking to customers over the phone, they were very rude and seemed uncaring towards the way they speak to customers. i would not recommend going here unless you are desperate.

Went in today and was happy with my experience! Lovely atmosphere with friendly customers and nail techs. Very, very pleased with my nails (I had BIAB and nail art)

I would not recommend this business.
During my visit, I overheard staff raising their voices at a customer they accused of not paying — when in fact, the issue was caused by the business changing its bank details without notifying the customer. The staff handled the situation poorly and came across as rude and unprofessional. It was also disappointing to hear them speak negatively about other customers once they’d left. Overall, the service and atmosphere were very unwelcoming, and I won’t be returning.

I completely forgot to write this review. I went to Norton Nails in December after coming back from Uni to get some christmas nails. I’ve been going to Norton Nails for more than 4 years and have loved every set. However, this acrylic set I received lasted 2 weeks as some started to come off. I returned to get an infill like I normally would but was told I’d have to get a brand new set and a removal which would cost way too much on a Uni budget. I was surprised by this as I find my nails normally last 3 weeks and can have around 2 infills before needing a new set. very disappointed. The staff were also arguing throughout the appointment and were switching between clients.

Workers were arguing in front of customers. One worker stormed outside. He was being quite rude to a customer even though it turns out they’d used the wrong top coat on her nails which is why they weren’t drying. My nails were painted to a pretty poor standard and the gel started peeling off only a week later (which has never happened when I’ve been to other salons). Will not be going there again.

There is no way to pay by card. They want cash only. Doesn’t seem right to me. Had to wait ages for an appointment I had booked. Won’t be using again

I phoned ahead and was told to come in after 3pm so got there after 4pm. I waited about 25 minutes as they were busy and this was fine. Two people came in and they served them before me. I was so angry at their rudeness I just walked out and I will never go there again. I found someone that could remove my acrylics somewhere else and they did it for me straight away.

I needed to get my acrylics taken off, they didn’t take them off properly, they’re still on, it’s also £15 for removal, everywhere else it’s £10, the worst nail shop ever

Had an appointment booked in today as a Christmas present from my husband he even phoned to double check ! Turned up today a queue of people one lady waiting over an hour as told opening at 8 ! Very disappointed as shop was closed and no signs of opening ! Will definitely not be coming back or recommend such as shame
